Re: Red Dead Redemption
Well I'm stuck at a standstill right now. Says I have completed 82.6% of the game but suddenly nothing new is showing up on my map. To pass the time I have been doing some of the challenges. I have helped only 12 strangers so I know there should be more to do. Any ideas?Currently Playing

Any ideas?100% Completion is an accomplishment in Red Dead Redemption that unlocks an achievement/trophy and an outfit. 100% Completion is achieved when a set of designated tasks has been completed. The following list provides the specific requirements for achieving 100% completion. This accomplishment applies to the main game - the Undead Nightmare DLC has a separate 100% completion accomplishment covered under the achievement/trophy entitled "Zed's Dead, Baby." Re: Red Dead Redemption
Finally beat the game.
SpoilerThat had to be one of the saddest endings with John dying. It was such a change from the norm in video games. I love that John Jr. kills Ross, but it still gave me such a hollow feeling since he waited for such a long time to seek revenge. It'll be interesting if they'll create DLC or pick up the story from the son's perspective in the next iteration.SpoilerDefinitely a tear jerker. Putting several bullets in Ross's head was such a satisfying way to end the story.Currently Playing

Re: Red Dead Redemption
I had no idea Ms. MacFarlane gave you a Kentucky Saddler at the beginning of the game.
I'm pretty sure that during my first playthrough I immediately ditched that horse to stay loyal to the one I had at the beginning of the game. Not this time.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Re: Red Dead Redemption
Does/Did anybody else find themselves not doing nothing in the game and not even bothering with the main story of the game or any of the side missions? Everytime I turn this game on, I find myself just riding around for no reason lol.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
I accidentally drowned mine by jumping into the river with it. I honestly have no idea what the hell I was thinking.

Re: Red Dead Redemption
The Saddler and the Half-Bred suck so much compared to the American Standardbred, which I believe is the evil one. Playing through most of the game without that awesome black horse is torture at the moment.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Re: Red Dead Redemption
I can seem to find out what breed the evil horse is. It seems to have awesome stamina which i thought was one of the bad things about the American Standardbred (isn't it the fastest horse but has poor stamina)?Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
The Dark Horse is a special horse breed featured in Red Dead Redemption. The Dark Horse has a slick black body, white face and muzzle, and blood red eyes. The horse's body is covered with unexplained scars and wounds. While it has an average speed on par with most mid-tier horse breeds, the Dark Horse is notable for not losing speed if it runs off-road. Its health and stamina are also noted for being higher than most horse breeds, making it a durable mount in combat. The Dark Horse is a...
End game spoilers (not related to the previous part of my post):
SpoilerAnybody seen this? http://reddead.wikia.com/wiki/Zombie_Horse
It's a zombie horse that's in the game's code, but isn't useable in the game. I have to wonder if that horse was originally planned to be Jack's horse after John dies but they scrapped that idea or something.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

I am lucky I have a War Horse certificate, because I would really hate my decision to go Desperado. I laugh every time I whistle and to have that ugly horse come around the corner. I shoot him in the face or burn him then activate the certificate. Sometimes I have to use it in a pinch though.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
I hate that horse. That thing is slow. Try one of the race missions with it. I never caught the pack and when I did the best I can get to was 4th place. I had to cut corners to win.
