Re: Red Dead Redemption
SpoilerThat was a horrible ending
The guy played as an honorable character all of that time only for it to not matter at all.
He dies by getting shot up by a mob of authorities as if he was straight scum.
Did it really take all of that?
Then the whiney little boy takes over as the main character... there is just no connection there and no reason to want one.
Killing off the old man felt empty, and a waste of the entire story. I dont know what R* was thinking.
It just made zero sense in the end, for you to put that much work into the game then the main characted is brutally murdered by a fleet of cops after he has become an off to himself citizen.
I feel cheated in the end playing empty missions with the boy... there is just no fun in itSpoilerIt was a perfect ending and made perfect sense. The guy robbed and murdered a countless number of people. He was a criminal and a murder. In the end, the law used him and then exterminated a problem when he was of no more use.
Even though I played as him, and liked him to an extent - he was still a pretty terrible person. He treated almost everyone in the game like complete ****, and even tried to shoot a harmless man who did nothing to him in the back. He was a murderer.
I just didn't like his son. He was a whiny obnoxious brat and his voice drove me nuts. If they had made his son not so annoying, I would have no problem playing as him; but they made him very unlikable.
But the ending still made perfect sense when it comes down to it. Really, based on the whole situation and time period, it was the only ending that made sense.

Re: Red Dead Redemption
Spoiler
As a user they give you no choice really, I think that ending sucks.
Again, if he was just to die anyhow, the entire honor system made no sense at all, and then the entire redemption title means nothing at all as well.
It was really an empty feeling killing agent Ross but I laughed when I finally read all the spoilers and saw that other people did the same as me and just kept shooting his body up after he was already dead
I didnt kill his wife or brother but maybe i'll go back and do that but afterwards there is no more appeal to the game. Im going to trade it in for something else.Comment

I wish there had have been a big fight to get to Ross and not have it just be a duel with him as the only fight. At least have the duel after you have to kill a ton of people. I'm probably going to trade it in along with Fifa WC after I win a WC. I haven't touched it since I've beat it and it doesn't look like my friend wants to borrow it anymore so no point in having it.Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment

Yeah well that solidifies me trading this one in
I did want to get some co-op with some guys here but other than that
SpoilerJack has absolutely no appeal to me nor is there any attachment in the game, and they seem like they tried their hardest to make me feel that way lol.

Re: Red Dead Redemption
Damn deceptive game. Why does every horse look like a Standardbred at night? I just lost my Saddler because I broke a horse that I could've sworn was a Standardbred, and right after I got done breaking it a thing popped up that said new items were for sale in the store. I was like, "alright, must've unlocked the deed". So I go all the way to the general store, and I'm faced with a dilemma, hitch new horse and lose Saddler, or go in to see if the deed is unlocked and hope that horse doesn't run away while I'm in there. I hitched, deed still locked, somebody kill me.
Anybody know where I can get a new Saddler without having to buy the deed?Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn
