Re: Red Dead Redemption
Can someone answer me this here. I've been looking online with no definitive answer.
So what' the difference between Red Dead Redemption and RDR: Undead Nightmare? I see that RDRUN is basically an add-on, but I just saw that you can purchase it as a hard copy (disc) as well as online content. So does this mean the DLC version is playable without the original RDR disc? Also, why such a big disparity between price points? RDRUN DLC costs 1600 points (aprx $20) while the hard copy goes for $30, so what exactly is the difference between the two other than you need to have the disc to play.
I think I'd like to finally get on the bandwagon - kinda late, huh? - but want to start out small. Also, if you were to recommend one over the other, which is the better purchase: RDR original or RDRUN?Comment

RDR is the game w/o the dlc. Of course.
Undead nightmare is the dlc seperate from the main story and also has access to online multiplayer but no main story.

Only the undead nightmare part.

With the dlc disc only you can access the multiplayer portion of RDR online. If yo have the original game already you'd just DL it for the 20.00 or so dollars.

Re: Red Dead Redemption
So if I want to buy Undead and want to play RDR online...I am good? Or at no point can I do all that is available online with only the Undead Redemption physical disc? At some point I will need the original RDR disc to have access to everything online?
I ask this because it is going to be $20 next week at Best Buy and I have done everything I can with the original RDR single player and purely just want to do online stuff.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
$20 at BB. I sold RDR on craigslist as I have done all I can on the single player but don't love the mp enough to keep it. But for $20, it will be worth having if I get the mp itch plus having a whole new single player campaign to go through.Comment

Wait, is this promo going on now? Online I don't see a price difference. Is this only in store? Or only next week? Sorry, just gotta figure this out.Comment
