Played for about an hour or so last night (SP and MP) and really enjoyed myself. The game is definitely tough, which I like. I'm playing on Medium and have died plenty of times and I'm only on Chapter 2 right now.

Multiplayer is fun, as everyone has said. I got my butt kicked of course, but I'll definitely improve once I get the controls down. I hope to get in some OS4L games, tonight.

The checkpoints in this game are ridiculous, I haven't died this much in a game in awhile and I hate that they randomly take away clips and painkillers after cut scenes.

They do this sometimes with Uncharted as well. It's like I would stock up on a bunch of ammo and grenades, then suddenly the story decides that I should only have a pistol and maybe twelve rounds at that point. It kind of messes with the continuity.

Though, at the same time, that helps if you were without ammo when entering that cut scene to begin with.

Picked this up today. Played a few chapters and I'm now on the Stadium level but I keep running out of bullets!

Was gonna play some multiplayer tonight if I can join OS4L?

Yeah and it's especially annoying with the painkillers since health doesn't regenerate so you'll sometimes have a few of them, then there will be a cut scene and you're down to a pistol with 12 bullets, a whole bunch of guys, some of your health taken away and no way to fix your health. The good thing is that if you die enough times they'll start giving you painkillers but you have to die a lot for that to start happening.

Just got my download for the Soundtrack on Rockstar's website.. this is one my favorites this gen including Tears and of course for those of you that played the game already.. that drum beat that plays while in Sao Paulo is pretty sweet too.

Also taking a small break from the game before I do another playthrough but on Hard.. and free aim it's going to be torture but I don't have to worry about getting all clues and golden guns anymore as I have them on my first playthrough.

For those that have the soundtrack I meant the files called - Tears, The Girl, Max Favela, Guns, The Imperial Palace, Combat Drugs (my 3rd favorite), Max Finale, Circulos from chapter 7 lol

For guys who are just starting out, once you get to parts of the game where the enemies look like they have bulletproof vests on: they do. It's not like some games where it's just an outfit, you need to shoot those guys in the head or you'll be wasting a lot of bullets shooting their bodies until you get through the vests.

Oh boy this doesnt sound good for me. I'm already playing on Hard. Where the game is fine in certain areas in this level. There are times when it is a major pain in the booty

So if things got very tough on normal towards the end. I better get my mind right when I get there on hard.

Just be sure to to aim for the head against the late game enemies who are wearing body armor. If you do that it should be manageable, tough for sure, but doable on hard. Bullettime, shootdodge (doing it wisely however), and headshots will come in handy in those parts.

Worst comes to worst, if you keep on dying the game gives you painkillers, so at some point you should have enough to get through.

Just discovered something REALLY cool.

In single player, when you pause the game... you can still look around and survey your environment.
