If there are any of you that play games at night/ late night I'll be on after the LA Kings game. So far in the multiplayer I have either done very well or flat out terrible.

I want to play this bad... I haven't gotten to play since Tuesday

The single player is awesome so far, although I am not having a ton of trouble on Medium. But I am only just towards the end the stadium level, so I will see how much harder it gets. I have only died twice though, and once was in the tutorial when I didn't know WTF I was doing, so that doesn't count.

I kept getting that error when trying to accept an invite from candymanOS. Anyone know what causes it?

I got a fix for this. You got to back the whole way out of the multiplayer servers and then go back in. It then resets your data (Basically Updates it) and allows you to play with the ones your getting the error joining.

So what's the MP customization like in this game? If there is any. Don't want to sound like a CoD douche or anything but is there any sort of Create a Class system? Or is just you and your gun?

There is both loadout and character customization. I haven't leveled up enough to really dig into it but it seems like a lot is there.

                    Re: Max Payne 3

Finished up the SP. Thought it was very good, one of the better third person single player campaigns I have played. Overall, I still like the original Max Payne games better, but by a very slim margin. Story was good, but I didn't find it quite as interesting as the original games. Honestly, can't think of anything I disliked about this game, though. The only nitpick I can think of is there were some instances where it seemed like the game was trying to force you play a section like a typical third person shooter instead of like a Max Payne game. Shoot-dodge didn't seem to a viable tactic in a couple of sections and I would have preferred to see a few less sniper/on the rail sequences. The game really shined in areas where you had room to maneuver, and could use shootdodge more liberally. It also had some awesome set pieces involving bulletime.

Going to start a hard playthrough, I am defiantly going to need to raise my level of play though, because medium started to get very tough near the end of the game.

Normally I have to play third person shooters (ala Uncharted, Gears, etc) on Hard difficulty straight out of the box. With this game however, I'm struggling a little even on medium. I think I'm just trying to play it too much like those other games and am not using my bullet time options to my advantage the way I should.

The checkpoints in this game are ridiculous, I haven't died this much in a game in awhile and I hate that they randomly take away clips and painkillers after cut scenes.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

Oh boy this doesnt sound good for me. I'm already playing on Hard. Where the game is fine in certain areas in this level. There are times when it is a major pain in the booty

So if things got very tough on normal towards the end. I better get my mind right when I get there on hard.

                            Wish me luck
