    Re: Max Payne 3

If this game can beat (or even match) the joy I had playing MP2, it would be amazing. MP2 is still one of my favorite games ever. I'm so looking forward to playing this one (I might even play MP2 again on my PC for fun). I'm definitely in a MP mood!

Yeah, Rockstar has become pretty much the bizarro-EA for me.

Grand theft auto IV was amazing.
I bought Red Dead Redemption because I needed that open world fix and it turned out to be my favorite game of all time.
I was gonna look past this game and just wait until GTA V came out, until this trailer came out.
Rockstar you can do no wrong, this game looks incredible.

The Weapons of Max Payne 3: Submachine Guns

Our latest feature on the weaponry from Max Payne 3's devastating arsenal highlights the submachine guns (SMGs) - lightweight automatic weapons that can hose their targets with bullets within seconds. With the weightlessness of a pistol and the rapid-fire rate of a much bulkier machine gun, these spray and slay weapons make short work of enemies at close quarters as the holder maintains slick maneuverability throughout.

You can dual-wield the lighter SMG models such as the M10 and the Micro 9mm to let these slug slingers take out opponents in double-time. Prefer a little more kick in your SMG? Then pick up the heavier SAF .40 with two hands and rip through the armor of your foes.

Explore the video above to see more of the SMGs unrivaled speed, mid-range accuracy and surprisingly powerful punch in action, along with detailed 360-degree renders that show off all of its individually modeled components and a selection of new screenshots.

Some REALLY cool info about multiplayer... your "crews" even carry over to GTA V!

New to the series so I was hesitant to even look at information about the game...I figured why bother if I missed 2/3 of the story line.

However, I don't care. These trailers and gameplay videos are amazing. This game looks like pure fun, plus the graphics are superb.

I played a little pit of Max Payne 1 at my friends house when it was new, but I never got into the series. However after watching the trailers for Max Payne 3, I must buy it! Looks amazing!

Looks decent enough. Not that I really care about MP, especially for this game.

I had a random thought watching that video though: it would be ****ing sweet if Rockstar did another Warriors game with multiplayer.

Thought this article would be helpful to new people to the series like myself:
For those of you gearing up to play Rockstar’s upcoming crime thriller Max Payne 3, we’ve prepared this primer on the plots of the first two games and a look into what's coming up in the third.
