Re: Max Payne 3
I am on the last chapter I believe (chapter 14) but I just can't get past this one section.
SpoilerThe part where the guy with the grenade launcher and all the trucks roll up. I am thinking this must be the last battle with just how insane hard it is. Any tips how to get past this section. I don't have enough bullet time, pain killers, or cover. Even if you do hide behind cover the guy will launch grenades at you.Comment

Re: Max Payne 3
I have the PS3 version and that is my worry that the community will be really small. If it is already dwindling it will only get worse and that is the reason why I am holding off on the rockstar pass."If you don't have anything good to say, say it often"- Ed the sockComment

Re: Max Payne 3
i play soft lock so it may be more people playing free aim, but usually see around 700-1000 people in team deathmatch and/or gang wars. the other lists are very small."on hoping there is a PSN flash sale before Valentine's Day"

Re: Max Payne 3
I really think Im just at the point where I hate this level. I finally get back to that point, deliver a few head shots and then the building shakes all over the damn place, I get hit, go into that mode where the camera turns grey and you have a chance to shoot and survive only to not be able to aim because the damn screen is shaking so I die. Ive never been more annoyed with a game in my life, I got no idea how guys do this on the harder difficulties as Im about to quit and be done with it as it is.Comment

Re: Max Payne 3
The problem is that everybody plays soft-lock online. Just like RDR. You can usually find between 200-400 people playing soft-lock Gang Wars every evening. Remember, there are only 16 people in game, so 200 people is plenty enough to get a full game.
I don't know why so many people play soft-lock. Every time I play, there is always 5 or 6 guys running around with body armor and LMGs just holding down the lock and fire buttons. Every time I die and they show the paper doll silhouette of where the bullets hit, I have about 35 shots all clustered on my character's groin area. A crappy way to die.Comment

Re: Max Payne 3
Beat it finally two days ago.
WOW GOTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Story = Single best single player story I have ever played through. It was done like a true movie. It reminded me a ton of Man on Fire with a mix of Die Hard!
Sound = The sound was done perfect. In the airport when the music kicks in just made me
Gameplay = I don't know of any other shooter that has made me feel like such a badass THAT WAS A HUMAN and not a bullet sponge. The movement controls can be a bit funky at times but the gun play, bullet time, and dive options open up some epic moments.
SpoilerThe section on the train where he leaps from one window to the next blew my mind. I literally said out loud WOOOOOOOOOWWWWWW!
Game was easily a 9.5/10 for me. I give a half point off for the somewhat lack luster ending. The story was amazing to me and sucked me in like no other game. The little touches to details really made it feel authenticSpoilerGrabs a plastic bottle to make a one shot silencer
Now to tackle it on hard
Ohh and the people that having a hard time getting through some parts. Just remember that so many games fail to give us a challenge. When you beat MP3 you will feel like you accomplished something. That is what I loved about the challenge! It felt rewarding yet helped you in time of need with pain killers and bullet time.Comment
