GH = 3* easy

GH = 3* medium

So obviously there's a problem somewhere but it was the same deal with WT and SH and to a lesser extent Metallica but at least I could do every song I tried on hard in that. It's even worse than SH,can't even get the same scores I did in that on this. There's an outside possibility that's due to the star power change but it doesn't seem like it.

Then there's times the little ball thing will be right in the middle of the meter and it doesn't even score it or it just drops out half way through the note.

Both on hard (remember there's no GS on hard in RB so 5 is tops),same mic...

RB: 5*,98%,25 phrase streak
GH: 1*,55%,0 phrase streak,in the red/almost failed 5 times. Didn't think it was possible to pass with a 55%.

Hungry Like the Wolf
RB: 5*,99%,29 phrase streak
GH: 3*,72%,4 phrase streak

They Say
RB: 5*,99%,23 phrase streak (really should've been 100%,1 slight mess up)
GH: 2*,64%,3 phrase streak

My best on GH is Miss Murder on hard with 4* and 84% though I have 90% on Freya with 3* both of wich are also wrong because I 5*'d them both in SH even though that was worse than Metallica.

Question for those that bought GH5 and mailed out there information for GH: Van Halen. Is Van Halen being shipped out before the official release on 12/22 or is it going to be 6 weeks after 12/22 that they are shipping the free game?

the offer says, "Your game will ship in 4 to 6 weeks." Not that it will ship 4 to 6 weeks after VH comes out.

We recently reported on Viacom's comments that The Beatles Rock Band is "exceeding expectations" so far and that the full band kit could actually be sold out by November. EEDAR provided us with estimated first week sales of 650,000 units. However, according to Dan Rosensweig, head of the Guitar Hero division at Activision, Guitar Hero 5 has beaten Beatles Rock Band by 4-to-1 in the U.S. and as much as 9-to-1 in other markets.

guitar hero 5 should sell more upfront, since Activision is throwing a free game in with it and it still supports the ps2. I wonder how horrible Van Halen sells now though, since they threw it under the bus to get some increase in initial GH5 sales over TB:RB.

I still think most people figure the The Beatles game will have longer legs than any of the recent Guitar Hero entries, and they have the DLC to make money off of as well.

How does the World Tour guitar compare to the older ones?

I just ordered one because my older one is starting to mess up on me. And the store I bought it from just closed down so I couldn't get another one.

Is it an improvement or is just the same exact thing but w/ a slider bar added on to it?

I prefer the World Tour guitar over the older ones, personally. It is bigger and heavier and the neck doesn't separate from the body like the Les Paul's had a tendency of doing. I never used the Xplorer so I cannot compare it to that, but its a good guitar.

Well, I caved and bought GH5 today. The deal for Van Halen was too good for me to pass up. I'm kind of concerned about the fine print of "while supplies last" on this offer, so I hope I don't get denied my copy of GHVH. I feel like a dirty, dirty whore as I am pretty much a RB fanboy at this point.

I agree, plus I think that the GH5 guitar is a slight variation of the GHWT guitar or the same one.

It's a little sturdier and more accurate. I've worked w/ the prototype since may or so, and they hold up pretty well(on the Wii version anyway).
