Finally! Got the trophy for lighting up all of the engine cylinders in V12!

I also scored 152 million during that game, good enough for 39th overall.

Best pinball sim game ever. And it was only $10!

I suck at it, just as I suck at real pinball, but it's incredibly fun and addictive.

Apparently the buzz over on the Playstation forums is that the patch was released in Europe, but Zen is waiting for feedback on it before releasing it stateside. Should be a few more days.

The only bug I've encountered is the system lock-up when loading the game, so I hope it fixes that!

On another note, I loaded the game today and was busy doing something else so it ended up going to the demo screen. I noticed that when they were touting the realistic physics, it showed a ball go down one of the side slots, and then travel back up the flipper and into play.

Given that the side slots are my bane, I'm really curious how that technique is done. Can one of you gurus clue me in?

That's called a "death save" and is actually a useful trick in real pinball machines as well (I've never done it - I'd get kicked out )

In the game, when the ball hits an outlane hold that side's flipper up, then nudge the table with left stick up or down as the ball is just below that flipper. If you're lucky (and this is ALL luck), you'll move the ball up just enough to catch the opposite flipper, and you can fire it back into play with that flipper.

Like I said, it's very rare that this actually works, but it seems to do better if the ball is rolling down the outlane slower than normal. Of course, there isn't much you can do to control that...

Not sure exactly, but I have heard that you can use the nudge with the 6-axis controller as well. We'll just have to wait and see if that's true.

Shaman has a terrible bug where if you trap the ball up in the top (after you have spelled "ELEMENT" and then use the trapped ball to spell "CAST")...the ball will often come loose by warping thru the post and then your game is screwed. Can't trap another and the game registers two balls being lost. Had more than a few games ruined by this.

Yes sir. I'm no good, but I play this about every other day (not for too long, though). I've been playing on the weekends especially because I've been traveling to hotels for my sister's softball tournaments, and it's a perfect late-night game to play when everyone else is in bed. So I'll probably be playing it tomorrow night.

Lately I've been on a GTA-run, so I'm really doing that right now. But ZEN Pinball is certainly legit.
