Its hard thiugh as i've been on xbox and xbox live since being a beta tester. I know it will be weird not having it. Live runs out in december so i guess i can wait until then. Just sucks nit having HDMI on it.

Okay, I've about had it with Homefront and their horrific server issues. Should I trade that one in tonight and pick up this instead? Anyone who has played HF's multiplayer, is Crysis 2 better or more enjoyable than Homefront? Is the storymode a lot better? I'm on the edge of going out tonight and grabbing this, but only if I get some pretty convincing responses...and soon. Lol. Thanks!

It is a lot more fun, for me at least. Tons of challenges, unlockables, etc. Can't wait to get back on tonight.

I can't speak to the online portion, but as far as story goes, Crysis clocks in around 12 hrs, vs the 5 hrs Homefront provides you...

Crysis is awesome online, I love the game play, and it looks great. If you're thinking about trading Homefront in do it.

I knew you were/are a big advocate of Homefront, so if you're suggesting I do it along with others, I think I will. But I might just finish up the SP tonight since it is so short and take it in tomorrow. I just can't wait any longer for the server issues to get ironed out.

But enough about that, let's talk about Crysis. Lol. Is this REALLY one of the best FPS's some of y'all have EVER played, or is it all hype? And why in the heck wasn't there a whole lot more buzz about this game if it is/was supposed to be so great? Just curious.

It's definitely up there man. I still don't think it's THE BEST looking console game to date, but it is certainly pretty.

I still love Homefront when it worked and will love it again when it starts working. I'm just saying if you have to make the choice between the two, take Crysis. As for the lack of buzz? I think it was just a lot of skepticism about this great PC game being brought to the consoles.

There has definitely been buzz about this game on the PC side for sure. I guess it coming to consoles wasn't as big because most had experienced it on PC already.

It definitely sounds enticing, man. How is the story so far? Did you have to play the first one in order to know what's going on in this one?

I am giving Homefront a chance with their next patch which should be soon and if it is still messed up then I'll call it a day and move on. I may pick this up as well as I am still debating about it. I didn't care for the PS3 demo at all and others have said the final product is much better.

I'm with ya. I'll definitely pick up HF again when they get the server issues fixed because it is an absolute blast when you can actually get in a MP match. But I have a 4 day weekend coming up (starting tonight) and I need a game to hold my interest while the wifey is studying. Lol.

I had ALWAYS wanted to try out the first one, but never had a high-end PC to do so. That's why I'm hoping the second one will make sense and still be enjoyable without knowing the story behind it's predecessor.

Never played the first actually, but I've picked up on everything alright. I never have been and never will be a PC gamer, but I'll definitely read the Crysis wiki at some point to catch up on the back story.
