Yeah, the export process went smooth as silk for me this morning as well. I now have 643 songs in my library!
What's up with the code on the back of the Rock band 3 booklet? Is this for more songs? I have the game on 360 and bought it from Best Buy if that helps...Comment

Export worked fine for me and thankfully there were no MS related shenagins with The Doors.
It took quite some time to make my band. (DLed the export and Doors packs and still was 30 minutes later) The new character creator is good but as previously mentioned the unlock system is crap and a lot of outfits are locked. It was nice of them to finally add normal clothes.
Trying to add art to an instrument was suprising hassle. I think you have to make the art,then choose apply art and then move it around and stuff. I was trying to move it around the guitar as I was making it.
I've had to quit out of songs 3 times already to get my band set up. Oi.
I didn't think I'd have a gameplay related complaint but the new highway is way too small. The notes are all squished. Even more so than the Beatles and Green Day games. Hate to see it online or on a SDTV.
They stole GH's pause rewind.
Boo the Hey Man,Nice Shot guitar chart. It was awesome in GH,crap in this. The good part in GH is on bass in this. So when you get to that song play it on bass.
Oh and the song reccomend in the store seems pretty bad. It wanted me to DL Miley Cyrus.

I just got my copy of Lego Rock Band from Amazon, brand new, sealed, and when I went to the website and entered the code (to get ANOTHER code that will work on the 360), I get this message:
"Oops, sorry, we're all out of download tokens. Try again later."
I enter it again, and now I get the:
"Sorry, that code has already been redeemed."
I've sent an e-mail to the address on that page but what a load of crap. I don't want to play Lego Rock Band, I want all the stuff on a single game...gah!I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be. - Douglas Adams

Some of these tiers make no sense.
Jerry Was a Racecar Driver should be harder than 2 dots on Guitar.
Crazy Train is not devil tiered on bass.
Roundabout should either be 4 or 5 dots on guitar.Comment

The old ones are changed too. Pretty sure Don't Fear the Reaper used to be 2 or 3 dots on vox and now it's 0.Comment

So is this working on the PS3 now for exporting the songs?
I played a little bit of RB3 today...............I noticed that some songs on Medium have an orange fret which they never did before in RB1 or 2. I like this since it lets you practice a bit with the OJ fret before moving to Hard.Comment

It's been like that for 4 months.
Just to save some people potentional trouble and hard drive space the 20 free from RB 2 does NOT count towards the challenge/achievement of playing all free songs. However the Shaimus song in it DOES count towards Shameless Self Promotion while the songs imported from RB 1 do NOT. Actually only 4 of the free ones count. Don't even need them all.

Got the game yesterday (wasn't supposed to arrive via Amazon until today - nice surprise!).
My wife, who can play the piano, really enjoys the pro keys mode. I gave it a shot on easy. It's challenging, but I'm glad it's in there to provide something new. It will be nice when there are more games with keys in them (and hopefully they'll issue a patch that will have it in RB1/RB2 songs and old DLC).
Looking at the song list, it was probably my least favorite of the 3 games, but after playing some of them, it's growing on me.
Can't wait to have a Rock Band party so we can have a full band together.Comment

For all the drummers out there, get the RB3 cymbals for pro drums. It's 100% worth it. After playing for a couple days I can't believe we didn't have this option before. It makes the easier songs more fun and the harder songs more realistic.Comment
