    Re: Rock Band 3

    also since the Squire is coming out next week, 10 legacy tracks are getting guitar/bass pro-mode upgrades. although i'm not into G/B pro-mode, this is pretty cool - Metallica upgrade?? yes!

    Pro Guitar Upgrades for Previously Released DLC // Blog // Rock Band®
    In Rock Band Rivals, form your own band, rock the world, and live out your ultimate rock and roll fantasy, with your friends, family, or as a solo act.

    With the release of the Rock Band 3 Fender Squier Stratocaster Guitar Controller next week and with the Fender Mustang PRO-Guitar Controller already out in the world we thought Rock Band fans might like more Pro Guitar songs to play. On March 1st we'll release Pro Guitar / Pro Bass Upgrades for a bunch of previously released legacy content DLC songs from Boston, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Metallica, and more!
    Pro Guitar / Pro Bass Upgrades available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii on March 1st

    * Blink 182 - "Dammit"
    * Boston - "More Than A Feeling"
    * Creedence Clearwater Revival - "Bad Moon Rising"
    * Creedence Clearwater Revival - "Fortunate Son"
    * Eve 6 - "Inside Out"
    * The James Gang - "Funk #49"
    * The Knack - "My Sharona (Cover Version)"
    * Lynyrd Skynyrd - "Simple Man"
    * Metallica - "...And Justice for All"
    * The Offspring - "Self Esteem"
    * Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble - "Pride and Joy"

    These Pro Guitar / Pro Bass Upgrades will be available for $0.99 each. You must own the original DLC track in order to purchase the Pro Guitar / Pro Bass Upgrade. The upgrade only includes Pro Guitar and Pro Bass - these tracks do not have Keys, Pro Keys, or Harmonies. For more information about Pro Guitar and Pro Bass upgrades, visit our support section. Rock Band 3 Pro Mode requires Rock Band Pro-compatible instrument controllers.

      +1

      these would have been better choices to go with Head Like a Hole.

        Not a huge NIN fan here, but agreed that Discipline is an awesome song.

        Awesome news! Maybe I'll dig up my pro Mustang and give it another shot (though the Squier will probably be 50 billion times better; compared to a real guitar the 'feel' of the plastic Mustang is WAY off and made learning the Pro tracks a chore, to me at least).

          I believe Terrible Lie is right after Head Like A Hole on the album. It's on the same one anyawy. I'll get Terrible Lie whenever I buy the game.

            Cannot wait until Tuesday. I was hoping for some tracks off of Pretty Hate Machine when the remastered version was released. I would have loved the whole album to be released.

            I can't wait to play The Only Time on keys.

              Terrible Lie on guitar = Polly on drums.

              I keep buying bunches of DLC even though I'm only ocasionally renting the game.

                      Good to see them using more keyboard-heavy songs, but how about some Ben Folds? His songs are made for RB3.
