Thanks BnG. I have to get my weight up to deal with this quest. On to the ostriches!

      Re: Two Worlds II Impressions

I've become familiar enough with upgrading weapons and fighting technique now that I'm starting to whup some ***. Well against low level creatures that is .

I usually just run into a pack of Varns and decimate them. The one thing I stand no chance against so far is the giant scorpions. I just run, I figure I'll deal with them when I'm a higher level.

I haven't really messed with magic at all yet and rarely use my bow I've just been upgrading strength and endurance and metallurgy to constantly upgrade my gear.

I'm now pretty hooked on the game like others. I had my doubts for the first few hours but now I'm loving it.

I love that "eye" that you send out remotely to see what's around the corner as well as the personal teleport system. I think this game is severely under rated.

The oculus is sweet. Helps out a lot in some of the dungeons that have larger beasts. Especially the ones that are loaded with a fireball/missile/etc.

I still can't grasp the shooting multiple arrows. I know I'm doing something wrong, but I can't do it for some reason, lol.

Me neither. I remember the tutorial portion seemed easy but now I can't do it. And I have no damn manual due to it being GF.

Bring up your bow... Make sure you select Multi arrow via the hot button ......
Hold RT AND LT and then while targeting the first enemy let go of LT and then right away push LT again. That targets the first guy. Swing over to the next target and Release LT and push in again. That targets the 2nd guy...etc..etc...
              Then release arrows and enjoy

How do you fuse gems together? You can do that right?

You can only fuse gems of the same type and level, in the inventory screen you hit the same button as the craft button (it only shows up at the bottom left as an option if the gem can be fused).

I'm not really good with the magic system yet, but I have a spell that says it will raise the dead with a damage bonus. It says, "Cast on corpse" So I tried to cast it on some dead creatures/people but nothing happened. What am I missing?

Looks like what little buzz there was for this game is dead. I'm playing the crap out of this game. Still in Chapter One and taking my sweet time. Just now getting into the magic side of things. Trying to complete as many quests as I can.

I'm enjoying this game more than I did oblivion....there I said it. It reminds me of Fallout 3 just with a middle Earth backdrop. And I mean that with the positives and negatives. But I loved FO3 so I'm not suprised.

Still liked Morrowind better for it's time but this game is rising up the charts for me. And it seems like it's gonna be a LONG trip.

The game is over for me, until there is some DLC. I've completed what looks like 100% of the game, in 84 hrs of game time,

I had a lot of fun with it, and hopefully some mods will start rolling out if and when the release the SDK for the PC.

It's only dead to me because it's over, lol.

I haven't had a chance to play past the first encounter with the Prophet, have too many other games to play!

But it seems like a great game! 84hours wow!!! You need too slow down and enjoy the scenery, lol!

Great to see it was a good game though! I'm playing on PC as well, but not as much as I'd like!
