WOW! I just finished the campaign and E-p-i-c knocked it out of the park with this game. From the pacing of the story to the excellent gameplay, this was well done. I felt the entire time like I was in the middle of a war, which E-p-i-c nailed.

It upset me to see Dom die off in the middle of the game, I would have thought this would have been left for later on in the game and not so soon.

I guess I was wrong about the Locust Queen being Marcus's mother, though you never know.

Yup I agree. I have three straight days off of work coming up starting Saturday, so then would be a great time to get some games in.

Whoever thought of Dry Docks for Team Deathmatch should go die in a fire, that map is just a spawn trap fest every single game... You get stuck in your own spawn, you aren't getting out.

Also I hate that the sawed off is a starter weapon.

As stupid as this sounds but i am on act 3 of the final chapter and part of me doesn't want to finish it as i could keep going the game is that awesome.

This game tops the first Gears of War for me. The single player is excellent, and the multiplayer is crisp except for a few things (sawed off shotgun). Game of the Year candidate for me.

Dry Dock is fine, it's the game mode and the respawn system which are flawed. The spawn trapping happens on a lot of other maps as well in team deathmatch. Even though I like the new mode, I think after the dust settles I will stick to execution or king of the hill.

Ugh, this sounds like some people over at the E.PIC message board. Sawed off is fine as a starter weapon, learn how to play around it. You see a dude charging right at you, back off and pump him full of rifle ammo. Or dance and get him to waste his shot, thus triggering his bazillion-second reload. I have already killed so many sawed-off users just by getting them to miss then chasing their *** down when they run and can't reload in time.
