Re: Gears of War 3
I need opinions...
Should I purchase Gears 3 or wait on BF3? Never played either before.
Also, thanks for posting tips.EXPERIENCE MAYHEM FOOTBALLComment

I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

Re: Gears of War 3
Well I finally figured it out. My new Turtle Beach wireless headphones were the culprit. After hours of testing as soon as I turn off the wireless receiver everything works great. I tried multiple channels on my wireless router but it interfered on every one. I obviously can't use my xbox wirelessly and the headphones at the same time. A shame too because I was really starting to like the headphones. I guess I have to go with a wired pair now.Comment

Re: Gears of War 3
I played around with the Gears of War Trittons, which sound incredible in 7.1. Just have the GOW branding on them, but the sides pulsate which look pretty cool. Those are tempting for a wired headset.Last edited by ExtremeGamer; 09-22-2011, 01:43 PM.Comment

Thought about the wireless but with the hub being in the same room as my router, it has always caused problems like the one fishepa is having.Comment

Re: Gears of War 3
If you're new and trying to get your feet wet with online multiplayer, play on casual for a little bit. It's just new people, since they locked it out from anyone who played Gears 2 online for a set amount of time. Pretty smart to have an area where the only people playing are people new to the series or didn't play Gears 2 online. Once you get so much play in it (no clue where it cuts it off at), you "graduate" on to normal multiplayer.Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.Comment

Re: Gears of War 3
My router is a Linksys something with DD-WRT firmware installed on it. It's upstairs about 20 feet away. The problem is the TB base station is too close to the xbox. I tested this with both the xbox and my laptop as well. With the TB base station turned on my throughput goes to crap and times out. As soon as I turn it off it speeds right back up again. This is also testing the wireless on multiple channels.Comment

Re: Gears of War 3
Finished up Act 1 last night and got to thinking. Do you think E.P.I.C. would/could release Thrashball as DLC?
Does anyone know how to get the Organ music to play on the Thrashball mp map? I was playing last night and the organ music start playing in the backround.Comment
