I had a Jurassic Park once. It was needy when I got it, and I refurbished it....and you are so right. They take a lot of care and getting parts is sometimes very expensive and hard to track down. But there's nothing like having the real thing....that you get to play for free.Steam: BahnzoComment

Re: Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection (PS3/360)
Wow a lot more people have the game now.
Last night I got 92 million on MM! ....but i'm only like around 70th on the leaderboard (probably much lower by now)
It looks like this game has really caught on. I'd be interested to know their sales after a couple more weeks.
I had a huge game in Taxi as well..about 12 million or so. top 50s scores are still somewhat doable for some tables, but top 10 is looking more and more out of the question everyday.
question: How will they add more tables to the arcade? it's not like their are extra slots,...so i wonder how they'd do that? Maybe somehow delete a non-playable machine and replace it w/ a pinball?Liquor in the front, poker in the rear.Comment

Is DLC confirmed for this game? I really hope that there will be some more tables coming, but I haven't heard anything of the sort. Shouldn't be hard to add them though. Take out one of the generics and put in a real one.
Nice going on MM by the way!!!Last edited by LingeringRegime; 09-30-2009, 12:28 PM.Comment

Great that more people are buying the game. It really came out under the radar. When I went to Gamestop to buy it the clerks looked at me like I was stupid when I wanted the new Pinball game coming out.

and LOL about buying the game. Same thing with me, ODST came out the same day (I think) so as I walked up the guy said ODST? and I was like did you get a pinball game in today? haha it was funny because he barely remembered and had to look for the disc for like 10minutes.
I think I'm going to play right now before I have to go.
and about people getting it...the reviewers did the right thing and when gamespot and ign give a game over 8s it makes a big difference obviously. I think the reviews might be pushing the sales for this one.Liquor in the front, poker in the rear.Comment

It's a Williams.
Here's a site that has about every pinball machine ever made, with pictures, reviews, etc. You can search by name, manufacturer, etc.

Re: Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection (PS3/360)
Awesome link thx. Can't think of the machine name, but remember playing this pinball machine that would say "eight-ball corner pocket" in it's robotized voice - has stuck with me for more than 20yrs. Anyways thanks for the info on The Williams Collection; think I'll pick it up
My game should be here today, though it may have to wait for work and my Madden OS Vets game. I'll definitely be playing it tonight though!Last edited by bcruise; 09-30-2009, 01:22 PM.Comment

Re: Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection (PS3/360)
About the DLC . . . does it say it on the back of the box? I'm away from home so I don't remember. If it's there . . . extra tables for this game would be more than great.
Maybe I'm getting old, but is it hard to clearly see the No Good Gofers table, aside from it being slightly low resolution? It just seems to me that the yellows, oranges, and reds on the table all seem to run together making a blur that's hard to look at. I still enjoy the table, but I have to strain my eyes to play it (and I've never worn glasses)."We were expecting a miracle with Elite, but instead we got Jesus at halfcourt."

I have the same problem on NGG. Right in front of the flippers it is hard to pick the ball up if it is moving fast. I am getting old though.
Regarding to the DLC, it just says Leaderboards/Trophies.Comment

Re: Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection (PS3/360)
Love it already.
Started out on Medieval Madness, played that for a while (it's free play from the start), and then moved on to one I'd have to unlock free play on - Space Shuttle. Didn't take long - I scored 7.5 mil on my first game, and did all the standard goals in that same game! Must have had about 5 extra balls in the whole thing. Space Shuttle's a pretty simple one if you're just starting out - pretty straightforward shots and a REALLY easy bonus multiplier. The Airlock and Heat Shield features also help you out too when they're activated. I think that 7.5 is going to put me in the top 20 whenever it finally gets updated. (32nd, actually - not bad!)
I had never played Medieval Madness, and had NO idea how complicated that table is - couldn't believe there were 84 pages to the in-game table instructions! Can't wait until I get to Funhouse and Pinbot - two of my most played machines in real life. I wonder what I never knew about those two!
Also, this honestly feels like slow motion compared to Zen. It's more true to life, but it sure is a lot easier to keep track of what's going on after playing Zen!Comment

And I still hate Trolls!
Also, anyone had any issues with the DMD (the points display) disappearing? I've had some games where it just suddenly goes away, and only returns after the game is finished. Wondering if there's any way to get it back when this happens...really annoying because you know it only happens when you have a good ball/game going....of course.Steam: BahnzoComment

The points display disappears when you hit a certain button. Not sure which though. Did it a few times on accident.
Glad, that you have the game bcruise. I think we have an easier time going up the leaderboard because we have the PS3 version. Be sure to try the Williams Challenge, it is a worthy name. Lots of fun though. It reminds me of a Decathlon + 3, for Pinball of course.Comment

Wow. This definitely went under my radar. I love good pinball games. The price is right too, and looking at the EB Games web site it looks like it sells used for 10 dollars less at 29.99. Not sure if they have any used ones in yet, but I'll have to look.
I'm always on the lookout for games that my girlfriend will enjoy playing with me and this should fit the bill. Please tell me they had the good sense to allow two players locally.Comment

Checked VGchartz. Looks like 7500 on the 360 and 6600 on the PS3 sold. Let's hope the game gets some more pub, seems to be growing, I scrolled to the end of the scored on the 360 in the first couple of days and it seemed like there were only like 1300 users.Comment
