i remember reading something about being able to slide down stair banisters during fights and many other things that made me say "wow, i can't wait to play this" only to be hugely disappointed. granted it was pretty fun, but the ending was terrible and there was nothing to keep me around once it ended.

while little things like that are nice, I wish they had put more depth to core parts of the game. Being good or evil looked nice, but you could murder a whole town, only to get loved again for entertaining them with fart noises and funny faces. It was still a great game, but I'd rather them add depth to things like that than sliding down banisters. But they're just going to be using the Fable 2 engine, so they can presumably put more polish into things.

What was talked about at Leipzig back in 06 had nothing to do with Fable II.

Again people need to provide facts on what was promised and didn't make it in Fable II.

They aren't going to because the people who keep saying that they promised more than they delivered either didn't actually pay attention to what they said or are just making things up.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

Peter dreams big and says what he would like to put in the game, but I don't think he has straight and out lied about features being in a game.

i don't need to provide facts. i found the game disappointing. it was insanely shallow, short, and had almost no lifespan.
i didn't find it as entertaining as i had hoped i would. if anybody thought fable 2 was amazing then they must have some really low standards.

It's one thing to be disappointed and that it didn't live to the expectations in your opinion, that's fine, but what's the point of this comment?

Because it was forced to have it,annoying, leaving it injured wasn't really much of a solution as it seemed to warp at certian points or at least wasn't slow enough and you couldn't really do anything about it until the end of the game.

Peter M. is notorious for creating more hype than his games can live up to. i didn't realize sarcasm wasn't allowed in OS, sorry.

The dog was nothing but a help and if you didn't want to interact with it then you didn't have to.

how did i make anything up? did i say that the game will literally only contain 25% of what's promised? no. is peter molyneux known for getting ahead of himself and mentioning ideas and concepts as things that will be in his games, only to later not have aforementioned things in his games? yes.

You made up a random percentage and you can't even cite examples of what he hyped for Fable 2 that didn't make it in the game.
