I finally got back into it after a couple days off and beat it. Crazy ending, though I was starting to wonder if they'd go down that route. I want to replay it.

It is nothing short of a work of art. -

I'm finally able to listen to your podcast after finishing the game last night. How often do yall do poscast?
I enjoyed this like I thought I would the ending was a little confusing and not quite as good as I hoped. But I hear they are mulitple ending so I'll defnetly play through it again. I would say this is #2 on my games of the behind Walking Dead.Retro Redemption - Starting over with a oldschool PowerBone Offense

As to your ending, the first part of it (about Conrad) happens regardless, but the other part is what can change. In my first play through, I pulled RT which caused a different outcome. I'm on my phone so can't use spoiler tags but you can imagine what happened.Last edited by mrprice33; 12-05-2012, 06:56 PM.Comment

Re: Spec Ops: The Line
SpoilerActually the first part doesn't happen regardless. You can get another ending before finding that out. I think it's before then anyway.
Yes he was dead. It shows you that video with parts throughout the game where it was all images in Walker's head whenever he was talking to Conrad. As pointed out in the interview mrprice there did with one of the devs that particular ending about dropping the gun and going home may very well be a hallucination. Even if he did get to go home he's damaged from his actions and what happend there.
You can pull the trigger during the mirror scene for another ending (that's the one before finding out Conrad has been dead all along) and you can open fire on the army guys to get what I'm pretty sure is the real ending.
Turns out there's yet another ending I didn't even know about. You can open fire then get killed for another different one.Comment

I'm still not sure how this game flew so far under the radar. I got it for $15 during the Thanksgiving deals and man is this game great! It's really underrated.Comment
