Put quite a few hours in last night on PS3 playing conflict with a couple friends. There were mic issues where we'd play a match and one or two of us could no longer hear the other. As soon as we got back to the lobby everything returned to normal. A little frustrating considering the communication and tactical basis of the game.
Also ran into the occasional cod player screaming crap over the mic. At one point I saw a cluster of guys grouped together in a nice bottleneck so I tossed in a grenade. Just as I let it fly, I see Mr. COD rush past me charging the group with guns blazing. I verbally warn him that I just threw the grenade. I get a triple kill, two enemies and him. He starts bitching about how his team sucks, full of a bunch of noobs, and how they need to learn to use grenades. I had to mute my mic because I was laughing so hard.

Re: Ghost Recon: Future Soldier
Theres no TDM? Weird. I wonder why not. Seems like it would be fun.Comment

Re: Ghost Recon: Future Soldier
Well there is a TDM, but it's called Conflict. Tommy Jacob (one of the dev's) has called it there "Objective Based TDM". You can go for kills, but there are objectives that need to be captured as well.Xbox LIVE GT: oALEXtheGREATo

Re: Ghost Recon: Future Soldier
For those playing the single player can you comment on the opposing cpu a.i.? How smart/difficult are they at the default difficulty level? How about at higher levels? Thanks in advanceEA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.Comment

I am seriously digging the SP portion of this game. The 3rd mission was different than anything I've played before

Re: Ghost Recon: Future Soldier
I've only played the first mission so far on Elite (the highest difficulty) and I don't find the CPU AI intimidating at all. I died once because I ran out in the open and didn't find cover fast enough. Your squadmates do a pretty good job of working with you too.[NYK|DAL|VT]

I don't understand how they can say that. Unless I'm missing something kills don't mean a damn thing as far as winning in Conflict.I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

Hey guys just picked up the game. Played the beta and really enjoyed it.
Question for 360 players. Is there a noticeable benefit from installing the game to the HD? I don't have a lot of room but will make some if I should? TIA

Re: Ghost Recon: Future Soldier
That sounds a little disappointing regarding a.i. especially on the highest level. The first concept devs should focus on in any shooter is making the a.i. value their own lives and perform as such (get cover when available, run from grenades, flank, etc.) FEAR was one of the best games I played in utilizing some of these concepts. Not surprised that the teammate a.i. is pretty good. Thanks RR and let me know if they get any better as you go deeper.Last edited by NINJAK2; 05-22-2012, 09:52 PM.EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death.
