I'm going to start playing a bit later. Too addicted to the new Porsche Expansion Pack that just came out for Forza 4 today.

Not surprised that the teammate a.i. is pretty good. Thanks RR and let me know if they get any better as you go deeper.

The more I play this game, the more I love it. Decoy is starting to become my favorite gametype. Just had a match where I went 48-16, but I was the only one defending the objectives. If it weren't for me, we would've lost the game long ago.

Picked it up against my better judgement (hated the beta). The reviews and impressions suckered me in. So far, it's very meh to me. Online is still poor IMO. It's just not the GR I know and love. Maybe after a week or 2 it'll change when the "COD type players" leave, who knows.

The horde type mode is a lot of fun, really the shining star of the overall package.

Single player feels disjointed early on. Didn't get to really sink my teeth too deep into it, but will this weekend. Everything I've read has praised the single player (sans the bad story) so we'll see.

Right now, it's a 6-7/10 game. Most, if not all of it, screams rush job to finally get it out the door after years of delays.

I feel exactly how you did about the beta. At first I loved it then I hated it lol.

This made me cancel my preorder, and rent it from GameFly. I will receive it today and give it antoher go, but for me I like my shooters to be in first Person for MP. Single player I dont care. Something about multiplayer I love my shooters to be 1st person.

Except for Splinter Cell. It made perfect sense for the spy to be in 3rd and the Merc in 1st. GOD I MISS THAT GAME!!!!! The BEST MP experience I ever had!!!!!!!!!

              Re: Ghost Recon: Future Soldier

Played for about an hour last night. I started with a couple of rounds of Conflict with randoms. Nobody communicated, but at least the teams tended to stick together and go for the objectives. The multiplayer mechanics are well done. I love how the K/D ratio is de-emphasized and teams are rewarded for completing the objectives. I'm looking forward to trying the other game types, tonight. Hopefully, we can get an OS private match going. I know having teams that are really communicating and planning will take this game to a whole new level.

I played a little singleplayer campaign, as well. I'm in the middle of the first mission, which is a tutorial, so I won't make any judgements based on that.

All in all, I'm glad I picked it up. I think the review scores in the 8/10 range are right on the money.

                Re: Ghost Recon: Future Soldier

Just got this and wow this game is awesome!

This is my first ghost recon and it has practically changed the way I look at third perspective shooters. The cover system is fantastic and I love the whole military-sim aspect of the whole thing.

Been playing it so much, I'm beginning to see a virtual HUD even in reality!

One question, when do I get to unlock the camo in multiplayer?

Not talking about the scout one, where you stand still but the one where you crouch (like in single player).

IMO, the mp is where this game will shine. Playing with OSers last night made me appreciate what team work will do for your online experience.

Outside of the monkeys I had as teammates, I enjoyed playing MP last night. I'm willing to bet a monkey may have actually done better. If a I incapacitate an enemy, DON'T KILL HIM. This is not COD, your kill does not help us there, let me hack him! Hell, if it's that big a deal to you I'll get out of the way and YOU can hack him...

Anyway, the different game modes are definitely fun, although will take some getting used to. All in all I'm happy with the gameplay, and haven't even dabbled in SP.

I set myself up with a stun gun for close encounters. It stuns your opponent and you can data mug him. Just today I had a nice scenario where I covered up, stunned a guy and got the data. My teammate finished him off after I got it.

I really like the teamwork aspect of this game and I like how you get big XP for helping out with confidence boosts, suppressive fire etc.
Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.

Makes sense for GR to have this in the game. Ubisoft are the ones behind Spinter cell. Where teamwork matters.

EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.

In seige when you die does it cut your mic off?

I dont have the game yet, but nothing like dying and then having to watch with zero communication with the players in the game (how it should be done).

I tried to give a bit when I first got it but I haven't had time to play much since....life :/

                                The game is a tps

It has the best shooter cover system akin to rainbow six

You still have to observe plan and move as a team on your attacks

I don't think the ai is any softer than any of the cod games...you run in the open theyre going to get you...but the stealth camo works wonders

In other ways theyre are multiple ways to attack a group of enemies if you plot things out

The cinematic action scenes new to this game were put there to woo the cod crowd but this game is not as bad as guys were making it out to be because that stuff is not happening in most of the game

What do you want to know about sp man?
