Now that BFBC2 is out for a month, what does everyone think of the two?

Battlefield is hands-down the better experience for me, especially online. I sold MW2 of a few weeks ago, and haven't thought twice about it since.

Battlefied for the win as far as I'm concerned. MW2 is good but I look for a more strategic/realistic experience.

Bad Company 2, hands down.

Modern Warfare is an okay game and I put in a lot of play time (almost got my third prestige), but the experience in Bad Company can't be matched.

BFBC2..just make sure you have a good squad to play with, might be hell otherwise. But it is far better. Tons of fun with little frustration. I feel like the hit detection can be bad at times though...but dedicated servers..so it's usually all good . This is coming from a person who liked CoD 4 better than MW2 though...MW2 was garbage with all the camping, boosting, the user controlled kill streaks, the super soldier, OMA noob toob and so on....I just couldn't get enough fun out of it to balance that out. I also liked CoD 4 maps better.

Easily BC2 for me. Playing MW2 I felt like half my deaths were cheap which lead to extreme frustration. In BC2 I feel its way more legit when I die. Plus its more strategic and realistic.

I agree with your points. MW2 frustrated me to no end, especially with the knifing super soldier non-sense. Now I hear that the noob tubing is getting pretty bad, which bet is annoying. I can play a game of BF2 and even win or lose I feel enjoyment. Plus I love the larger maps which give you room to breath and use strategy.

It's tied for me. I've been playing MW2 alot lately and haven't touched BC2 in awhile. They both have their pros and cons which make each game great. Preferably I'd take BC2 over MW2 but MW2 isn't bad anymore, looks like alot of the idiots are gone from when the game was a glitch fest. Which is why MW2 is being played more than BC2 at the moment. I'm starting to get the feeling I had with CoD4 come over to MW2 now.... finally

I like BC2... but there are some frustrating things about it like the other day I was in a match everytime I tried to push forward some dude with an m60 kills me almost instantly from halfway across the map... before I even knew where he was firing from I was dead. He pretty much dropped me in 2 bursts it felt like.

and although in some instances I like the destructible enviroment... (can flush out some campers hiding spots...) in some cases it can be a downfall... like if you're on the Attacking team and all the cover around an MCOM station is completely destroyed it's almost suicide running out trying to arm it, unless your team makes an organized push.

I enjoy BC2 a lot more than MW2. In MW2, I find myself getting frustrated/pissed off every time I die because most of the times it's a cheap death. If you ever went to a friend's house and watched them play the game, I bet they seem to always say stuff when they die like "OMG!" or "Bull****!" I just dislike the fact how overpowering some perks are and how easy it is to get killstreaks to dominate the other team. I can actually enjoy BC2 without getting frustrated as much and that just makes the game for me. Also, one player can not just lead your team to victory single handedly. It takes a team effort to pull away for the win.

You my friend, have hit the nail on the head! MW2 awards cheesie game play. Noob Tubes, Perks (Light weight and Commando...just to name a few. BC2 does not have that feel, even when you are playing a team of snipers who do not push forward, you have large maps that allow you to walk around and kill them.

I personally bought both, but not because I wanted to. I first had COD: MW2 because I got it for my brother for his birthday. I ended up playing it more than he did, and I loved the game. My uncle formed a clan called RP (Republic of Philippines), and it was seriously a lot of fun. But my PS3 kept getting stuck after every game a couple weeks ago, and I had to trade it in for BFBC2. I guess my PS3's model screws up every time there is a game update with COD so there was really nothing I could do.

I am playing BFBC2 now, and I'm not liking it as much as COD. I don't like it as much because there is less action, and it can really be frustrating when you're playing with random people who have no idea how to win a match. I also don't like the fact that you can't trash talk to the other team. You can only hear the mics of those in your squadron.

Overall, if I could, I'd like to exchange COD for BFBC2 but because of the reasons said above, I just can't. Maybe I just like COD better because I could easily dominate games (usually had 30 kills/5 deaths on my good days), while in BFBC2, I only have a 1.06 KD ratio.
