Re: COD: MW2 or BC2?
I personally bought both, but not because I wanted to. I first had COD: MW2 because I got it for my brother for his birthday. I ended up playing it more than he did, and I loved the game. My uncle formed a clan called RP (Republic of Philippines), and it was seriously a lot of fun. But my PS3 kept getting stuck after every game a couple weeks ago, and I had to trade it in for BFBC2. I guess my PS3's model screws up every time there is a game update with COD so there was really nothing I could do.
I am playing BFBC2 now, and I'm not liking it as much as COD. I don't like it as much because there is less action, and it can really be frustrating when you're playing with random people who have no idea how to win a match. I also don't like the fact that you can't trash talk to the other team. You can only hear the mics of those in your squadron.
Overall, if I could, I'd like to exchange COD for BFBC2 but because of the reasons said above, I just can't. Maybe I just like COD better because I could easily dominate games (usually had 30 kills/5 deaths on my good days), while in BFBC2, I only have a 1.06 KD ratio.Comment

Re: COD: MW2 or BC2?
Hey, I got your friend request, but didn't accept it yet. I'll accept it later today and you can hop in my games. I play with the HK clan most of them time and they're great at this game. You'll see your K/D and W/L ratio just rocket. Also, I played the past 3 COD and always had great games, but I never seem to play for long. On all 3 games I only have about 3-4 days connected. I just get pissed off a whole lot. I've been buying the games because my friends I know in real life basically convince me to get it.Comment

Re: COD: MW2 or BC2?
I must be missing something.
Every time I play Bad Company 2, there is PLENTY of action. I don't mind only being able to talk to my squad, because I don't have to listen to all of the rejects out in the world and it's easier to communicate with my squad. I wouldn't mind a little post match discussion, but it would be just like MWF2, where you can't get a word in without having to mute some jackass.
Like Mike touched on in his post, there's no "what the ****?" factor in this game for me. When I die, I usually know that someone deserved the kill and didn't have to resort to some bull ****.
And one more thing, before I close out this post..
The knifing. I've heard some complaints about it, but I love the knifing in Bad Company. I know when someone kills me by way of combat knife, then they earned that kill... they didn't use some ridiculous perk that makes the knifing resemble the energy sword in halo..Comment

Thats what I love about this game. Some guys just aren't the greatest at killing people and staying alive. They are able to impact the game in other ways instead. In COD one person can completely dominate the game and end up winning even tho the rest of their team didn't do anything. In BC2 that never works. You need to play as a team to win especially against an organized team. That's why I love BC2. I just wish I had the ability to talk to everyone if I'm close to them enemy or not like in killzone 2.Comment

Re: COD: MW2 or BC2?
BC2 = teamwork
MW2 = rambo....
I borrowed mw2 from my brother and I couldn't get into it....I guess I'm an audiophile and I just love the sounds of bc2..mw2 just sounds so flat to me.....not to mention the vehicles and destructible environment!
Man you know there's an actual fire fight going on in a distant in bc2 and its just not some prerecorded background ambienceComment

Thats the thing with BC2, having a high KD ratio doesn't mean much in this game. It's about doing your part to help the team. If your a medic then you need to be healing and reviving people. If your an engineer you need to be blowing stuff up an fixing friendly stuff. Now if your going to play as the assault class then you need to have a decent KD ration. Those are the main killers on your team.

My kill to death ratio isn't that great, but I help in other ways (as a medic, spotting, whatever) and it's fun....
I've come to terms with the fact that I'm not gonna play these games for 8 hours a day like a lot of people, and because of that I won't be as awesome head to head killing...Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: COD: MW2 or BC2?
The Knifing still needs some work in this game. There are times when you see a guy right there and you try to knife him and it gives you that "side swipe" animation and you even see him flinch with blood coming out, but he doesn't die. You can only kill them when you get the "stab" animation. You can even stab them through a wall of a house or metal and get the kill. I don't have much dog tags because of this reason. I would see a guy right there through a window and I'm on the other side. I would keep trying to knife him, but he doesn't die.Comment

I SUCK at killing people/Assault, but as a Medic? I do well more times than not. "Teamwork" is the key in this game for the most part. Willing to play a part is key. As a Medic I constantly throw out Packs, revive fellow teammates, I even follow my teammates around waiting for them to be killed so I can revive them. Sure I would love to go 20 and 5 but I get just as much satisfaction healing my squad.The poster formerly know as "FLIGHTWHITE"Comment
