Possibly IF you have an ad with the price. Don't know for sure though.

I finished the game, and everything about it is incredible, except for the difficulty level. The game looks great, the characters and dialog are very well written, and I enjoyed the new concepts introduced. I don't even mind the short length, since it doesn't overstay its welcome. The ending is smart and perfectly executed.

It's just an insultingly easy game. I really hope they bring some tougher stuff in DLC.

I picked this game up Sunday at Best Buy, and man is it great. I loved the first one, but this one is even better. I can't wait to play some co-op once PSN comes back.

Finished the game yesterday (Except Co-op) and man what a fun game.
It was certainly easier than I expected with only a couple ones that really made you think a bit. Some levels I kept overthinking things thinking it was harder than it really was. Then when it was solved I thought..WTF? That's it..
However it was a really enjoyable/funny game and can't wait for the DLC.

              Re: Portal 2

So I started playing Portal 1 (Orange Box) again and noticed my disk was cracked in the center. So I decided to just pick up another used copy. A couple days ago it was 17.99 at GS.... Now i's 23.99 used lol.

Obviously it's because demand went up since Portal 2's release. In any case I just went ahead and ordered a new copy from Amazon for 19.99.

I believe some levels in Chapter 7 or 8 had some red herring strategies, if that makes sense. In other words, it leads you to believe you can accomplish finishing the level in one somewhat perplexing way when you find out it's not really a solution at all.

This. That was the only challenge per se.

However, the game is so full of charm and humor that it was worth every second. Loved the ending, loved the new song and loved where your imagination can go with Chell's ending. I really LOVED the game and I hope we have not seen the last of her....with Valve's rep though it might be forever...hopefully I'm...still alive...

At this point, I'm just echoing mostly everyone else's thoughts, but I just finished the game and thought it was awesome the whole way through, from the puzzles to the dialogue to the Co-op; everything was stellar.

It had occured to me I could get the game for free as I have permission to just take whatever out of boxes at the local store. Then I found out it doesn't work like that. However with the way it does (apparently) work doesn't that mean someone could just rent it on PS3 and get it free on PC?

To get the PC game you need to tie your PSN account to your Steam account and a code from inside the box.

Way to take the quote out-of-context, news media.

                                Hi Guys,
Hope someone can help me with this.

If I activate my Mac version of portal on steam via PSN and then trade in the PS3 version, will I retain my copy of the game on the Mac?

I just want to get L.A Noire so badly so was looking to trade in this and a few others, provided I can still play it on my Mac.

                                Can anyone answer this?
