This game looks legit. Will be a good change of pace between The Rainbow 6 and Halo 5.

I'm bummed out about the lack of campaign honestly. I guess I'll keep Rogue Squadron and try to dig up an Xbox copy of Battlefront to satisfy my videogame movie experience. The lack of space battles isn't as disappointing to me so long as we can still rope an AT-AT on Hoth.

From the looks of it these maps will be massive. I mean I can imagine have big enough maps to have dog fights in the air with infantry on the ground. I also wonder if it's 40 people online with bots added?

Dice making it and using the Frostbite 3 engine. Add to that it's next gen & PC only, no last gen.

So it isn't technically Battlefront 3?

I'm guessing it's going to have a BF4 feel to it for sure.

Can't wait, it'll be a nice change of pace from BF4 & BFHardline.

To me that means vehicle and other device control will be 3rd person otherwise it's FPS.

'game engine' trailer (with likely PC graphics fidelity) was nice, interested in what the gameplay ends up looking like.

The one article about demo says:
At this point, the player controlling the soldier changes the viewpoint from first-person to third, something players can freely do at any time during gameplay. The character model is nicely animated, his head apparently tracking potential enemy movement."

This is my concern. I'm not a fan of the idea of playing with 39 others, hopefully there is some options for some bots and smaller options.

Yeah, I enjoyed the single player I think in 2(?) about the 501st legion. Seems like a very tailored experience, but I can't wait to play it. I want to see more gameplay footage though, not just the sleek trailer.

I've read that the smallest modes feature 8 people total and for some reason I was thinking 40v40 so I'm good and incredibly hyped. I may end up playing this more the MW2 if it lives up to expectations

and extra maps on other planets and space combat and extra weapons and...

Honestly, I dont know how they only have four planets (Hoth, Tatooine, Sullust, and Endor) at least they got three of the big planets from the original trilogy but it would have been nice to have stuff on Coruscant and some of the other places that Battlefront 2 had.
