From the looks of it these maps will be massive. I mean I can imagine have big enough maps to have dog fights in the air with infantry on the ground. I also wonder if it's 40 people online with bots added?

I'm asking myself the same thing with regards to whether they're gonna add bots or not. Also disapointed the max. player count is 40.

I personally hope they don't add bots.

Jackfrags and LvlCap on youtube mentioned that they had the chance to view a 5 min gameplay trailer at that Star Wars event. They couldn't show the footage on their channels, but both did mention that there is a map transition on the Endor map, where the fight initially takes place outside in the forest, and makes a "seamless transition" to inside a Rebel bunker, which is something most other shooters have never attempted to do.

I hope there is bots personally. Makes the battlefield seem more alive.

Agreed. Would rather just have more human players, but it's better than having so much open space left by 20 v 20.

In a Q & A session on twitter the question was asked. They said there will be bot modes called missions played solo or co-operatively online or offline. Not sure if it will be like instant action like in the previous games where you can setup your own games. I sincerely hope that leaving out the prequels was not intentional, but I have a hard time believing that it wasn't at some level directed by Disney. It's a bizarre move to ignore the half of the franchise that has the most battles in it... especially for a game called BATTLEfront. Sigh. Disheartening to see them taking so many steps backwards with this game.

I really hate the Clone Wars stuff not being in since I always felt that trilogy was better balanced in the other Battlefront games. It always fit better for battles like this too.

Not mad about four planets since there will be multiple maps on each one.

Probably in the minority, but space combat was the ****tiest part about Battlefront (aside from being the rebels on Hoth) and I'm not really mad about it since Tie Fighters, X-Wings and the like are still in the game.

No Campaign mode makes me think Bioware is making another KOTR. Perfect Strategy for EA, allows them to double dip into the SW universe

Doubtful. KOTR is no longer canon in Star Wars so I would be extremely surprised if Disney/Lucasfilm let them do that.

Ok Let me Rephrase:similar to KOTR. Since Disney likes money Im pretty sure they would go for the option that is guaranteed to make them tens of millions $.

Honestly, I dont know how they only have four planets (Hoth, Tatooine, Sullust, and Endor) at least they got three of the big planets from the original trilogy but it would have been nice to have stuff on Coruscant and some of the other places that Battlefront 2 had.

I'd be surprised with a game of this magnitude that they don't put out planet, weapon, or skin DLC(or all three together). Planet wise, I'd like to see the Kamino map come back. Great atmosphere, stormy water, etc.

I'm becoming more and more disappointed with every bit of news that's being revealed. Seriously. I've been waiting for this game for 10 years, and there's a good chance I won't buy it if E3 doesn't impress me.
