Re: Mortal Kombat
If they decide to tweak some gameplay elements, Scorpions spear and Quan Chis zombie stun time could use some shortening...Comment

Re: Mortal Kombat
I also notice online that a lot of people use a character that has a teleport. I don't just because its more of a challenge. They either use Scorpion, Raiden, Noob, Saibot, Smoke, Quan Chi or Ermac. It seems like that is who i always fight against onlineComment

Re: Mortal Kombat
This had me scratching my head too. There's no way there's more MK fighting games than there have been Street Fighter games, with their ridiculous titles like Final Super Street Fighter GT Twin Turbo Remix: Collector's Edition Volume III.
EDIT: I can't read, they made exceptions for the SF extra games.
Street Fighter
Street Fighter 2
Street Fighter: The Movie
Street Fighter 3
Street Fighter 4
Street Fighter Alpha 1
Street Fighter Alpha 2
Street Fighter Alpha 3
Street Fighter EX
Street Fighter EX 2
Street Fighter 2010 (shouldn't Ken be a robot by now?)

Re: Mortal Kombat
So I picked this up thanks to the $39.99 Toys R Us deal.
I've only played story mode, but it's great so far aside from one nitpick:
Where is Liu Kang's yell while performing the bicycle kick? It also sucks that they changed the bicycle kick from a charge move to a tap move. I used to love opening the match with a charged up bicycle kick.
Story mode is awesome, though. Jax is the man.Comment

Re: Mortal Kombat
Went to Blockbuster today and Sunday and it was out both times.
Hopefully I get a chance to play it in the next week or so because someone I know has a Game Pass at BB that I can use, so I don't have to pay a dime to find out if I actually like the game or not.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

Re: Mortal Kombat
Those are the ones I have. One of my favorite days was 'Mortal Monday', when MK1 came out for the Sega Genesis in the fall of '1993. MK4 was my least favorite of all the MKs.
I'm probably in the minority, but I actually enjoyed the MK 3-D games. It was a nice change.
I have the entire collection of MK comics produced by Malibu in the mid-90s. Anyone else have these?
Mortal Kombat - Issue 0
Mortal Kombat(Blood & Thunder) - Issues #1-6
Mortal Kombat(Goro, Prince of Pain) - Issues #1-3
Mortal Kombat(Tournament Edition) - Issue #1
Mortal Kombat(U.S. Special Forces) - Issues 1 & 2
Mortal Kombat(Battlewave) - Issues #1-6
Mortal Kombat(Rayden & Kano) - Issues #1-3
Mortal Kombat(Baraka) - Issue #1
Mortal Kombat(Kung Lao) - Issue #1
Mortal Kombat(Kitana & Mileena) - Issue #1
Mortal Kombat(Tournament Edition II) - Issue #1

Re: Mortal Kombat
I never used Cyrax much before but am really liking him in this game, his special moves are easy enough, he's got a variety of range in those moves, plus his babality and pit fatality are easy for me to pull off. He's one a 3-4 guys I want to master so I don't get my butt kicked too much online when PSN comes back up.I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!
