The one online match you've played really made that bad of an impression?

LOL yes! I just didn't have a good feel for it, but it was exciting. I just can't play games I'm not good at online. I'm sure it's awesome if you are good at it, but I just am not.

How do you improve without playing? If it is exciting, it has to be worth the time to at least become a competitive player. An "easy mode" game is a game I can't play.

If I have time, I'll probably be hopping on later tonight. With the release of the Vita and a lot of other hectic things going on right now with work and stuff, I haven't found time to fire this baby up. I want to "Reap" some more people really soon, though!

            Re: Twisted Metal (PS3)

Started running through the story on Twisted difficulty tonight trying to get golds and Worthog unlocked to use online.

OMFG it's hard! Realized using Juggernaut makes it doable and almost (not really) easy once you learn to use him. But i'm only halfway through

I guess as far as OS goes this game is dead. With The Show coming in a week, this game has no chance around here.

Oh yea, almost forgot the latest patch screwed me. Played 4-5 MP matches Saturday night and only got credit for 2.

Mabster, I just got back into it again last night. Played about eleven matches online. I saw you were on as well, but had the "Go away" yellow bubble next to your name.

I haven't seen much difference yet with the new patch, but I see that some players have gotten a bit better in the past week and I had to readjust again. That said, tonight is my last day of getting time in with this before SSX and The Show. After that, I'm going to have to play round-robin with these three games.

But you're right... I'm pretty disappointed in OS not following up with purchasing/playing this game after the pre-release hype party.

Okay guys, I suck at this game. I play on normal difficulty and I cannot beat the Electric Cage. I need help!!!!

Is there a good strategy for this board other than stay in the cage?

I love this game, but I am not good at video games and want to get past this board.

First, pick a vehicle you really like and learn the special inside and out.

Next, learn how to both use and conserve your shield and freeze attacks. They work really well when timed right and applied correctly.

Finally, for the cages, you might already know the areas where they will shift before they actually do, so as it starts to count down, leave your cage 5-10 seconds early to get to the next one. You'll miss out on that time getting to the next cage ordinarily anyway, and this gives you a chance to pick up all of the weapon icons over there before anybody else and attack them as they come in.

Also know how/when to switch out one vehicle for the other.

has anybody had any success playing with a party? I've not even been able to join a game with a friend, let alone play one together. As much as I enjoy the game, it'd be better with friends.

I think the one time I tried to with authentic, we had a lot of trouble and eventually just didn't play together.

I was able to join somebody's room by seeing what they were playing then joining that room manually, though... not exactly the same thing, but still worked.

There wasn't a whole lot of people that ended up getting the game and I know at least one already traded it in so the clan never really got off the ground. I don't know it's current status as I was in it but left on accident playing around with the party and clan manager and never got invited back (Blzer, I know you got distracted with the VITA, no biggie). Blzer has the lead, I'm sure he'll tell you more the next time he's on OS.
