Anyone else suffering freezing issues?I had the game freeze twice on me when I was trying to level up my characters to level 7.Also. is there a way to get the Exile Prince DLC without the Playstation Store? They won't accept my debit card.

So, after beating it I decided to play through again, but I'm having some difficulties (general spoilers from the entire game)
SpoilerMy first playthrough I was a rogue, siding with the mages and playing a "good" guy (I'm always the helpful nice guy in RPGs, not sure why). So I decided my second playthrough I would be a no-nonsense, what's in it for me, 2-hand warrior (since it seemed there were so many powerful 2-hand weapons at the end of the game) that sides with the Templars (so pretty much a diametric opposite of my first). However, I'm having a hard time doing that, it feels unnatural for the character and I think the problem lies in Bethany. They start you off close with your apostate sister, making it impossible to side with anyone other than the mages, who is too nice to be that close to a selfish jackass. Then they give you Aveline as your first companion, who turns out to be the captain of the ******* guard and Varric who, while a rogue by class, isn't happy with you unless you are a nice guy. I'm not even sure who I would fill my party out with for this playthrough, I know they will still follow you even if they hate you but I can't justify that myself and if I can't do that it's not going to feel natural and I'm not going to enjoy it.
I know much later I will be given some justification for going against the mages, when my mother is killed by the serial killer blood mage, but by that time I've spent 3/4s of the game telling everyone that not all mages are bad and you shouldn't punish all for the actions of a few.
Maybe it's just me but, despite thinking an alternate playthrough would be nice, there's just no way to justify anything other than the way my first play turned out.
It sheds a whole new light to Mages and the 1st Enchanter....I simply can't look at them the same way anymore. That DLC gives you a ton of back story on mages, templars, the chantry and everything else. After you find out the stuff you find out from that DLC you would be like OMG, no wonder.....Comment

You meet him at 1st outside of the Chantry right by the Chantry Board at the bottom of the stairs. You get to do a few Quests, but how ever he doesn't join your party until AFTER you come back from the Deep Roads. You will find him inside of the Chantry near the front.
I say have him in your party at ALL TIMES. You get a lot of interesting and good dialogue choices when he is in your party. His presence also leads to a lot of quests too that you wouldn't normally get either.Comment

That's what I'm doing now on my first playthrough. Pretty fun, and different since I was a Rogue on DAO. I'll probably play Rogue for my second playthrough of this.Prototype Supreme

Download Exiled Prince DLC........I felt the same way as you until I downloaded that DLC........

SpoilerAre you guys pro-templar? I've never played as a Mage (doing Warrior now) but with the whole mage/templar dynamic I think there might be some major promise playing as a self-hating mage...especially with a party of mages (especially Anders).
Thoughts?
I'm now in Act 3, going to finish up in the next two days, then back to DA:O to finish my surly dwarf story and expansions, and then I'll start my second time through. I just can't decide if I want to do it as a Rogue or Mage.
Also, any major differences in voice actor style? Fem-Shep owns Male-Shep in ME, just curious how it works here (if anyone's had the chance to delve into it).I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be. - Douglas Adams

Finally about to go on the deep roads expedition after 29 hours. I never replay any game(non sports obviously) more then once, so I have to see and do as much as I can during that only play through.Jordan Mychal Lemos

FWIW I really enjoyed playing my rogue, and it seems there are 2 really strong mages in the group but the rogues are fairly lame.Comment

Interesting. Somehow between drawing out every conversation with all NPC's, micromanaging every fight, and searching every inch of each map, I burned up almost 30 hours in Act one. With my glacier like style one can see why I don't go through multiple playthroughs. It would take forever.Jordan Mychal Lemos

a little nitpicky but is anybody else bothered after a bloody battle that they have blood stains on there bottom teeth? its really distracting to me...Comment
