I just ordered Battlefield 3 off Amazon for $30. Can't wait to play, feels like forever since I've played a FPS even thought it's only been a couple of months.

Just as you're getting a hang of the game, I'm losing it. I played 7-8 games yesterday and they were literally probably my worst 7-8 games i have played to date. I was constantly going negative K/d wise and only getting enough points to finish 6-7 on the team on average. So my frustrations with always losing on Conquest were multiplied even more as I was losing, and doing terrible on my own.

I just have some of the worst luck with this game, I swear I do. But it won't stop me from playing. The gameplay and atmosphere is just too good to not play.

The default m4a1 is what I've been rolling with. Actually, I feel like just about every engineer gun is worth using. Aks74u, m4a1, a91, g36c, sg553, and maybe some others I can't remember.

IMO I don't think any of the guns are weak, its just a preference of what you like.

generally: bullet size x rate of fire = more damage.

Usually also means more recoil.

Suppressors make bullets really weak IMO.

I use Recon mostly and outside of the one Magnum long range rifle, which unlocks late and a lot of people don't use for some reason, they're generally similar.

I don't know what's going on, but me and this game do not go together anymore. I loved this game the first few weeks it was out. This past week or two has been nothing but frustration. I have not been this frustrated playing a game since Modern Warfare 2, and I got rid of that game within two months of it's release. I don't plan on getting rid of this game, but I don't see it getting much play time when every single time I have fired it up the past two weeks has just led to me being in a worse mood than before I played it.

I used to think BF3>>>>BC2 easily, but right now I would gladly go back to before this game was out and BC2 was still thriving because I never got frustrated with that game at least.

Tried to get back in, but couldn't get a slot on y'alls team..

I tried to stick it out a few rounds, but I can't handle the incompitent team mates. Lone wolf wasn't working and then everytime I tried to scope it out and spawn on one of my squad mates, they were doing something retarted or trying to run out in the middle of the map, which lead to me constantly getting gunned down..

Going to go back to play CH2K8

I love it when people bail from their tanks while I'm next to them damaging it with my repair tool. They usually bail at around 20% which gives me a good amount of time to hop in and shoot the guy running away. In that last game of operation firestorm I took out 2 tanks easily by myself by doing this. After shooting the guy running away, the other tank sitting right next to it was off looking somewhere else while I get 3 easy shots in. They eventually bailed and I jumped out before my tank blew up and shot them down.

I am starting to feel the same way as I have been getting frustrated the more I play. Alot of choices they have made in this game has made it less fun. Like including flashlights, blinding red laser sights, sloppy controls, excessive camera shake too often, morphing halfway into walls when going prone, horrid spawning at times, graphics are too bloomed out, spawn trapping becoming a regular occurence lately etc. I think dice might have tried to hard for realism and grit and style over what is considered fun and balanced.
