He suggested the bundle pack, which is what I meant by it only being available on 360. Plus, SR2 still isn't the beginning of the "story," so it's not much better. Nevertheless, I'm going to download the free copy since I'm eligible. We'll see what time it gets since I'll already be "spoiled" with SR3 (both in story and in an overall better game, I'm sure).

Oh yeah, and one more control issue I forgot to mention: there isn't a toggle option to switch shoulders when aiming down the sight. It becomes a bit troublesome when peeking from a left corner. You also can't look behind you while on foot (at least in the way that you can while in a car).

        re: Saints Row: The Third

I'm not so sure what's going on, but I just fired up this game again about ten minutes ago, and suddenly gangs have flawless aiming. I mean flawless aiming. They're nailing me from 300 feet away with bullets like it's nothing. This isn't me just thinking out loud. I have no idea why it's suddenly happening.

And how do I disable tips? This game is still telling me how to press Select.

EDIT: It appears that policemen were handed the same accuracy. Did they "buy upgrades" too?

Are you still playing on Hard because I haven't had that issue(playing on Normal BTW).

Hell, I almost think aiming for me is too easy because I'm busting off countless(and I mean COUNTLESS)Head Shots from at least 100 Yds out...with Handguns and Sub Machine Guns

The pistol is my favorite weapon in this game. Love getting headshots.

But yeah, I'm still playing Hardcore. I can't understand the jump in accuracy after watching Star Trek, though. Makes no sense. The difference is night and day.

Same here. I mostly roll with dual pistols.

So far enjoying the game greatly. So much missions and side activities to do and so much chaos to cause.

The Genki Funtime Pack is all I know about. The custome is hilarious and the vehicle is awesome.

The vehicle is insanely cool! The costume is great, but the head sure gets in the way when you're aiming down the sight.

The mollusk launcher associated with the costume is laugh out loud hilarious! I'm still having trouble exactly understanding what it's supposed to do haha but the sound effects (or "verbage," I guess) coming from the mollusks are really funny.

Ha, I'm not sure what the launcher does either, but the "ethical" pop-up text gets me, too.

I was running around with just the jacket for a little bit. I think tonight I'm going to transform my character into Walter Sobchak. Either that or just go for the female character since I didn't do that in SR2. My guy is just too plain and there's no real good clothes for the 50s rocker/gangster look.

I'm okay with my guy being normal (kind of just a "me" character with some Miami Vice style clothing). I was gonna make a Jason Statham look-alike (since one of the guy voices is kind of like his), and I still might, but for the time being, I have to save cash for weaponry. I also wanted to make a Jigsaw look-alike as well (with the aging attribute available), but his kind of voice really isn't available in the game.

It attaches the mollusks to their head and then they're on your side. You can press LB to make them explode after they're fired and attatched to something.

Got it. I noticed they were trying to take it off their head, and aiming at them showed a green X (though you could still hit them). I didn't know what to do after that, though.

You would've had very little to complain about if you played on normal difficulty. Especially since this is your first time playing this game. I've played all versions and would never play on hardcore due to the artificial boosts the enemies are given.

To be honest, I thought this game rewarded you with a trophy for beating it on a harder level. Turns out it doesn't.

I sometimes just don't want to feel like I'm shortchanging a game because they might purposefully dumb down the AI for you somehow. GTA doesn't even have a difficulty level, so I was actually surprised to see this game have it.

Because the AI aiming got ridiculous last night (still can't explain it), I changed to Normal, and the problem has been solved for now. I need to know why the aiming got so precise for no reason whatsoever, though.
