    re: Saints Row: The Third

^ I'm assuming you have to progress further in the missions to get the day/night cycle going.

Whored Mode I think is basically what Gears of War's Horde Mode is.

Anyways, I guess the pictures I saved and uploaded didn't actually upload because I made my account on the Saints Row site after that. I had some good ones too.

Speaking of the screenshot feature, it's pretty basic. I wish it was a little more advanced to where you could free roam with the camera, but instead all you can do is press down on the d-pad and it'll take a picture of what's on screen (minus the HUD). It's also too bad there isn't a Youtube uploader or something to save videos.

I'll be playing this bitch tonight after I rage through my workout. It's a shame there's no free roam multiplayer because I would love to "joy-ride" with you guys. Is co-op xbox live only?

I'd like to also know the same thing if zombie mode disables achievements/trophies.

Thanks; I figured as much, but I didn't want to accidentally be missing out on something. I hope eventually it hits an actual clock like GTA does so that it simply cycles through the day.

It's also available on PS3... unless you meant vs. split-screen offline co-op, in which case I don't believe they have.

            re: Saints Row: The Third

Picked this up last night and played about 2 hours. Great game so far. Hilarious and just as over the top as advertised.

Creating my character was very amusing and I ended up with this Russian chick that cracks me up everytime she speaks.

I've done a few missions and they are a ton of fun. Driving around Steelport is a lot of fun and all the wonderful customization is still there (mods to vehicles, clothing, tattoos, etc.) This game has a lot of enjoyment and I think will keep me occupied for a long time.

With so many high quality games coming out recently, it was hard for me to decide which of them I should pick up (free time for playing games is my biggest issue). I'm happy so far with this purchase and see it occupying me for my gaming needs for some time.

I did the first missions but as soon as I was able to, I took off to explore. I had lots of fun screwing with everything and stealing cars and planes, I probably wont really get into more missions until next week since im off work. So far its very enjoyable, if any of y'all see me online and want to join up for some mayhem feel free (360 GT: NCoffey)

lol..People want a simulation everything. It's such a wet blanket over gaming. My budget is very tight these days, but if I get one more game this year it'll be SR3. Mainly because it does what is supposed to be done for video games.

Yes and yes. Not that you'd be getting many achievements with zombies there anyway.

Other people are having problems too. Might be a glitch on the console versions.

SCEA and THQ Announce Additional Content for Saints Row: The Third Owners on PlayStation 3

At long last, THQ and our friends at PlayStation are proud to unveil additional content for Saints Row: The Third owners on PS3. For all players that purchase Saints Row: The Third on PlayStation 3 and redeem their online pass codes within the next 90 days, they will receive a digital copy of Saints Row 2 (a $19.99 value)… absolutely free!

Go back to a simpler time, when the Saints were vying for control of Stilwater, before they were global icons, a household name, and a criminal empire. Before Professor Genki and the Syndicate, there were the Westside Rollers and the Brotherhood. Enjoy classic Saints Row activities like Septic Avenger, where you spray new homes with sewage in order to devalue property. And of course, enjoy a number of DLC packs brought to you by Volition’s favorite Saints Row 2 producer, Tera Patrick.

Saints Row 2 will be available for free starting early next week for all players who redeem their online pass in each new copy of Saints Row: The Third. The offer expires at midnight on February 13, 2012, so be sure to redeem your online pass before then. And for those of you who have already done so, keep an eye out early next week for the content. This offer applies to the United States, Canada, and Mexico only.

We hope you are as excited about this offer as we are!
