    re: Saints Row: The Third

Just completed the campaign part of the game and and for the first time ever, I've enjoyed every single mission in the game and I can see that have some replay value, especially with the alternate choices the game gives you.

And Blzer, how do you Car Surf because that's the one thing I've been trying to find out how to do lol

It might be relative to the kind of car you're on, but I jumped on the hood of a pickup, and suddenly I had an option (by pressing Triangle) to start car surfing. After that, it has a balance meter like grinding in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater.

It's pretty cool with all of the kinds of things you have to rack up for more respect points and stuff. One cool thing I noticed is that I now get cash for each time I drift/powerslide. I wonder what other things I will get money/respect for after maxing them out completely.

Haha man you need a mic!

So, before I was ready to come in and post about how co-op really felt like an afterthought for this game, as it's the same story as the single player campaign (unlike Portal 2, which has something completely different). It wasn't until I stopped playing that I realized you can simply do co-op at any time, with any file that you have. Stupid me, I could have loaded my game that I'm 35% done with instead of starting a new one.

Of course, if you [DEFT] haven't played that far into the game, it would probably just be wise that we played the way that we did. However if I accidentally overwrite my regular single player game file because of the way that we're playing, I would prefer that I didn't play a different campaign mode for our online adventures lol! We might just have to go on my regular file next time.

EDIT: Roided out guys suck btw lol!

                  re: Saints Row: The Third

I got this 3 days ago and finally dove into it yesterday. Them boys stepped it up! Came a long way since SR1 thats for sure. I dont know what they did but the game feels so much more stable and controlled as I play while being more off the wall then ever. From the get go **** got crazy and I love it.

The mission where you take over the penthouse, when Kanye's Power kicked in I almost lost my ****. That was a very **** mission just because of the music and the situation. God that was boss.

Im loving everything aout this one so far. And they added a quasi-RPG element? Comon man, Too much win for this dev team. The Characters are funny as hell too. Just got the T Pain Pimp guy Z? Damn. I cant wait to get into more of this one.

                    re: Saints Row: The Third

I'm at 43% done at roughly 10 hours played. I've been avoiding the missions (only 14 of them done thus far) as much as possible and doing all the diversions/activities. I've collected all the collectibles, finished insurance fraud, and tank mayhem. I have yet to find a few of the gang operations, and have one more level of Professor Genki's SERC and mayhem diversions. My friend did strictly the missions and was done in 13 hours.

I'll log about 30 hours into this easily on just single player. Then I'll have to run through it at some point in multiplayer as well.

What are these audio dropouts you were referring to? Because I'm currently experiencing some myself. I'm not getting the music when I enter my garage, some sound effects are coming in late, and I'm not getting any character dialogue during cut scenes/phone conversations either. This literally just started happening.

I doubt it's the disc, I think it's just the game itself. It's having trouble loading and accessing certain memory points.

EDIT: Other people are complaining about audio issues on the PC version (not necessarily the same problems, though). They all recommend reinstalls. I wonder if doing the same for PS3 will help, or maybe rebuilding the database.

Yep, the phone call and during the mission dialouge is was I'm missing. After I save it drops out about 80% of the time. However, I can't install to my 360 because its scuffed so it stops at 24% every time.

Oh okay, so your disc has physical scratches. I'll go check right now if mine does as well.

Again, this literally had just started before I posted about it.

EDIT: Nope, not a single mark on it. I'm positive that my issue is not disc-related (well, at least not in terms of physical damage).

Is there a way to go back and play the missions that had options to choose what I didn't the first go around and get the rewards? I want to keep all the goodies I have now but I want the goodies I could have gotten too.
