Re: BioShock Infinite
SpoilerDefinitely caught onto the multi-dimensional aspects after going through the first tear. Immediately reminded me of the tv show Sliders. Same world, different events leading to different outcomes.Comment

SpoilerI meant more in terms of it all falling together with rapture and the baptism. The whole there is always a man, a lighthouse and a city.SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

Re: BioShock Infinite
Ahhh.. no, never saw that coming, but I thinkSpoilerthe rapture part was just coincidence wasn't it? Anna kept saying it didn't matter, it was just another place/city. Figured it was just thrown in by developers as an ode to the original Bioshock. Or was the brother the main character from the original rapture? Wasn't their name 'Lettuce', which sounds like 'let us'?Comment

Re: BioShock Infinite
Upon finishing this game, I've tried to go and play some other games left in my backlog, like Crysis 3, Dead Island, and Spec Ops: The Line. And I'm finding myself not being able to get into them at all because they're just not as good as this game. I might as well just jump into 1999 mode until I'm tired of this game, I think.Comment

No Evil Goes Unseen.
Well, that's a game changer.

And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Re: BioShock Infinite
I loved this game but, I'm inclined to agree.
The ending seemed like a forced mind-****. Like it tried to hard to go for a twist like Bioshock 1. The combat is boring after a while, I had a real issue with how it locked you in an "arena" of some sort and then you had to kill every enemy before you could proceed. I still enjoyed the game though and my favorite release of 2013 by far.NFL - Giants]

Re: BioShock Infinite
So a complex ending makes the story stupid? What about the beginning and middle? Infinite didn't have the same luxury as the original regarding the twist, everyone expected it. I agree that the arena battles were a bit annoying and the throwing waves of enemies at you seemed a bit cliché for Irrational's standards. But does it make the game stupid? To each their own I suppose.I loved this game but, I'm inclined to agree.

Re: BioShock Infinite
Finished this last night. Fun ride. I didn't really get the story. But that's partly my own fault. I only get to play later at night when everyone goes to bed and by that time I'm in no mind to pay attention. I'll go through it on the hardest setting and try to pay more attention. But I enjoyed the mindless action and the setting.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Sounded good enough to me.
