Re: Grand Theft Auto V
I am thinking 3 characters with 3 different cities to play in.
One in San Andreas, one in say Washington, one in vice City.
Just a guess.
I mean, rockstar loves controversy.
Imagine letting gamers blow up a fake version of all those Washington landmarks.
Look out Jack Thompson!Last edited by econoodle; 10-25-2011, 08:14 PM.Comment

What Rockstar's Trailers Mean for GTA V. We take a look back at teaser trailers throughout the years - IGN
This morning's Grand Theft Auto V reveal teased the coming of the first trailer, which will hit next week. Rockstar has a long history of teaser trailers, some with almost no information, and others chock full of it. With GTA V on our minds, we take a look back at some of Rockstar's best teaser trailers, in chronological order.Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
GTA4 was arguably the best game this gen. And GTA5 will arguably be the best game of next gen.
Rockstar the world awaits...
I just thought his was coming much later. This might mean GTA5 will be on WiiU first and see itself on 720 and PS4 later.
I do not forsee this being on 360 and PS3 at all.
Unless they planned on always having two series iterations this gen?Brand New Tomba Slider sets ready for Next Gen Versions of NBA,Madden and Fifa Stay Tuned...Comment

Anyways, the quote below is what has me super excited. I've always felt that because of the longer than usual wait that Rockstar has had to been doing something really huge or crazy.
Back when GTA IV was being shown to press, Rockstar representatives would stress the importance of the number in the title. As successful as Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas were, they noted, it was the game that preceded them, GTA III that was a paradigm shift. They hoped and believed that GTA IV, by being a numbered game would have and merit some outsized influence of its own. If that is still the company's philosophy, then after Grand Theft Auto IV's un-numbered episodes, The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony, a numbered GTA V should again merit special attention. Shifting cities was not sufficient cause for a new numbered GTA before. A change to the series' formula, however, one that gives players more than one controllable character, would.
Another thing I'd like to see is one of those characters be a cop. Whether it's a shady cop or whatever, I just think that would be a really cool perspective to play from in a GTA game.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Re: Grand Theft Auto V
I always wanted to play as a dirty cop. Taking bribes, planting evidence, killing suspects, framing innocent people, stealing money, allowing bad guys to walk awayComment

I know the new systems are being worked on by Sony and MS but I don't think they'll be out for another 2 years.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

Silly silly, this will be on the 360/PS3/WiiU (ported).
This gen is not even close to over. And they will not announce a game for the next gen, before the respected companies even announce their systems.
Install base and logic. GTA6 two years into the 720/PS4.Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
Ok here comes a strong rumor on a potential locale (Kotaku):
Click
Personally I love L.A (Vice city would have made my day) and San Andreas offered a variety of different environments, interesting to see what they can do this Gen. Plus Team Bondi did LA NOIRE and we had Midnight Club LA, so it seems plausible and a world that can have a lot of substance.
I just hope this game is more "fun" you know? GTAIV felt way too linear for me and the dates, bowling, getting drunk was too much of "The Sims" for my taste.
I want old school GTA back, mindless side missions and a city that is alive, a dynamic storyline, a true free roaming rampage.
I basically want Red Dead Redemption in a GTA setting.
But that's just me..here's to hope!Last edited by ps3veron; 10-26-2011, 08:00 AM.Comment
