Re: Grand Theft Auto V
Love doing the taxi missions. Picked up a woman and gave her a crazy taxi ride through some rugged terrain. After some shaddy driving on my part she decided to bail; not on my watch!

PS: You guys are great.

First time we tried the heist, I'm 90% sure my partner disconnected. They were lagging really, really bad in route to pick up the bus, and then were blinking around the prison once we got there.Comment

Yeah, that was fun. We were damned close to escaping the prison that time too lol.

This was mine and my buddy's first go at this heist. I was flying the plane and he had the bus. Once the jets were on me (the first time they destroyed me) I figured out how to maneuver away perfectly. But I think he was supposed to get in the heli to take out the fighter jet, which he didn't know. Plus he's not a very experienced pilot. So a little tweaking and we should nail it.Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
Maxed out everything, this game uses 3.8GB of VRAM on the GPU for the PC. The game looks gorgeous though. The higher population count and population variety really makes this game shine. Even not maxed out though you easily hit 3GB usage of VRAM just on high settings.Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
The shadows kill my rig. I have textures and shaders very high and everything else is high or very high. Except for shadows, which I have to keep at normal or I stutter too much for my taste. I can turn MSAA on and have less of an effect to my frames than shadows going to high.
The game still looks great and running 45-60 consistently is a nice leap from PS4. I'm impressed my 2 GTX 660s run the game so high so well. I want a 970, but I'll hold off for now.Last edited by canes21; 04-22-2015, 03:45 PM.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
Pretty good article right here, it tells you what each setting does and how much of an impact it will have on your rig:
The definitive graphics and performance guide for the definitive version of Grand Theft Auto V. Discover the performance and visual impact of each game setting, and learn how you can tweak Rockstar's magnum opus to bolster image quality and frame rates.
I find it best to manually set stuff yourself then to rely on Geforce experience to optimize your game.Comment

Yea that's a pain. Well we've got us 3, maybe we can snag one more from here to get it done.

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
About $45k from my Hydra...with $25k for the DO tomorrow my goal is to get that last $20k through jobs so I can have it tomorrow evening. Us PS4 folk should take a break from baseball and whatever else and get a solid room going.Comment
