Any other PC users seeing their CPU usage stay between 80-100% at all times while their GPU usage never goes above 40%? I see this constantly no matter if I use all Very High, all High, advanced graphic settings turned on and all the way up. No matter what, it stays like that. I also see 45-60 FPS on all settings, however I stutter a whole lot more with the higher settings. Part of it is the GTX 660's are only 2GB and I believe Very High textures use 3+. However when I am using every setting at high my Vram stays just below 1.5 GB and I still only see 30-40% usage at most from both GPUs and never really go above 72 FPS while the average is probably 43-45.

Just played some more. Raised Enhanced Distance Scaling(or whatever its called) all the way and GPU usage went to 42%. Lowered it to 30% and GPU usage was at 42%. Weird.

Did your CPU usage fix itself because that is pretty damn high CPU usage of 80 to 100%

No, it did not. I thought it was extremely high as well. I thought the 2500k would be more than enough for this game. 60% usage I can see, but 90%+ consistently is ridiculous. I have nothing running, but steam and GTA V and all mandatory windows applications.

Yeah it might be time for you to upgrade your CPU. Majority of games I am between 20 to 33% CPU usage. CPU heavy games I am around 35 to 46%.

But the 5820K is 6 cores though, so the extra cores helps a lot.

Yea, the 2500k was supposed to be future proof whenever I bought(forget how many years I've had it now), but maybe we're further into the 'future' than I realize, haha.

Asking around the gtaforums(a mess of a forum) and others with much more recent i5's are seeing 90% usage as well.

I'll overclock it sometime this weekend and see how it runs. If it's not much better I'll just live with it for now. This rig runs everything I throw at it at higher settings still. I may not be maxing everything at 1080p anymore, but it's still got enough power to make everything look good and run well enough for me.

It is, but I am very tempted to start cleaning house as far as membership goes.

Obviously, everyone from our circle that we play with is good to go, but a lot of these no name players need to go. I have messaged two of them through the PS4 during sessions when I saw they were on GTA V while I was when I needed help with a quick objective and never even received so much as a reply.

68 members and I don't even know who half of them are.

Yea, I kinda miss the days of having a "tryout" where we let guys play with us but they didn't always get a crew invite. Its more difficult now because the different platforms, some of those who are in the crew might be active on another console or the PC. I wouldn't trade the guys we play regularly with for anything and it's been nice gaming with other OSers I might not otherwise game with.

PS4, considering your average OSer don't own a gaming PC.
