I have it on PC. I think you are only the 2nd person ever to have it on PC and want to play it online. I haven't ever actually played because I had no one to play with lol

I'm up for playing though for sure.

Haha, we may have actually given it a shot before, I can't remember. I love the game, playing the story a third time (want to see all 3 endings)...I rarely play a story once let alone 3 times. The game also happens to be (even more) beautiful with mods.

Anyway, online. I've dabbled on 360, PS4 and PC but never really got into a groove. I know there's at least one dedicated group here who've played a lot and for a long time. That to me would make the clunkyness worth it because for as good as the game is, the online menu's have always driven me mad. It'd be pretty cool to get a few people together on PC.

I was genuinely fascinated by this. I've played GTA a bit on my PS4 and never knew such a thing was possible to make money.

Do any of you guys know if this is some sort of PC mod or add-on or something??
You were likely watching Role Playing. There are a bunch of modded servers that run through an external application to connect to a separate server list than the original GTA Online that allows all sorts of possibilities with scripting and whatnot to create whatever you can imagine for the players to do together.

At this point they're just going to keep releasing vehicles, clothes, missions over & over.

This is such a massive cash cow for them. It completely changed Rockstar once they saw the numbers I'm sure.

This game is great, but at this point it's still a last gen title (prolly why they can easily keep releasing content). It's an all time classic and playing with friends is what keeps this title alive & strong. I'll never remove it from my library but I haven't touched it in months.

Very true points. That being said, they can keep it coming as far as I'm concerned. I go through breaks where I don't play it for a while, but whenever I come back I have a great time.

Rockstar games are synonymous with quality as it is, but the expectations for GTA VI are going to be through the roof after what this one has done. I don't anticipate hearing any news about the next one for at least two years. Nevermind actually getting a new game. Like you said, GTAIV is a cash cow -- no rush. I'll keep messing around in Los Santos in the meantime.

I keep holding out hope that one day they'll drop some more heists on us. I'd have absolutely no issue paying for that DLC. Running heists with friends were some of my best times with this game.

I agree, there's no need to rush. Hell, I still play the PS2 GTAs as much as GTA IV, Episodes from LC & GTA V.

                    Re: Grand Theft Auto V

I just hope that the single player in VI is not hindered by their focus for GTA Online. I am one of the ones who doesn't really care much for GTAO. I played it plenty, don't get me wrong, but it just always had something missing in my eyes and was too over the top for my taste. The single player was great, albeit short and I was so ready for the SP DLC they just abandoned thanks to Online.

I hope that isn't a sign that single player will be taking a backseat in the franchise from now on. I can't blame them for milking this game the way that they do, but I would be lying if I didn't have some feelings that I am going to be let down with the future of the franchise.

Sigh, if the costs are anything like Gunrunning i'm probably gonna be down $10mil out of my 25. I'm really hoping that i can mod the Swift into Airwolf, though.

I've never even completed a heist. Getting 2 more people would be great.

Played with randoms and tried out some of the new aircraft. Expensive, not sure when I will even be able to afford a single one, let alone the hangar.

This is the problem with most these updates. Unless you play this game all the time still, hard to really take part and have fun with all the new modes. Love what they have done Dlc wise, but man, costs are prohibitive.

:thumbsup they are useless to a casual player. It's pretty much a pay to win game or a game you gotta no life at this point. It scares me red dead 2 wise. Red dead online was so fun and I never felt like I needed to no life it or invest more money into it.
