And agree 100000%, no console DLC/exclusive BS. I would rather have preorder crap than anything console specific.
It would be a good Fall 2012 release especially with both MSFT and Sony not having anything in the Fall, unless Halo 4 is releasing next November which then a September release would make a lot of sense.

How much longer Brett till your PS3 arrives? Some GTAIV mp would be good, had quite the fun with you and Doug on this in the past.

DC would make sense since they can also go out to Baltimore and parts of Virginia if they wanted to keep the multiple location thing going.

You know, the problem with new releases of games is that they will tend to bring you to one of two extremes. Either...

        1) A new trailer will amp you up so much that you will want to fire up its predecessor in anticipation for the new installment.

        2) Said trailer will spoil and attenuate your want to even play the previous version of the game, because it is now far inferior compared to what you see you can be playing in due time.

Sometimes you can get a good mix of 1 and 2, but I'm banking on doing some of #1 sometime soon!

The only thing is I just got that new plasma TV, and I am currently so afraid of burn-in and IR on it with gaming in its infancy (currently around 80 hours of breaking in). I still have my LCD, so I might be gaming on that for a while until I feel a little safer about using it outside of watching 16x9 movies currently.

Maybe this game is a sequel to RDR, 100 years later...

Just to clarify, that image isnt related to the game. I pulled it from another site where someone was comparing that version of the 5 dollar bill to the new GTA V logo. Basically people are trying to "decipher" where the game will be set in based off the logo, and that 5 dollar bill shares features with the logo so the investigation continues...

                Re: Grand Theft Auto V

                I've cracked the code!

Where was Super Bowl V played? You guessed it, at the Orange Bowl in Miami, FL... coincidence, I think not. However, the web goes deeper, because who played (and won) that fateful game? Why it was the then Baltimore Colts!

Thats right, after many minutes of deciphering clues, I have come to the 100% correct conclusion that GTA V will be taking place in a combination of Vice City and a yet unnamed Washington DC.

But thats not all, as we shouldn't forget about the losers of Superbowl V, a team that also happens to be located in one of the early areas speculated to be the possible location for GTA V. And that is the Dallas Cowboys.

So remember, you heard it here first, the GTA map will be split into 3 sections, Vice City, Washington DC, and Dallas!

I just hope they scale down the distance between cities a tad...

Yeah and optimized to run like 4 does after the patching but out of the box instead of months later

I would assume (hope) that we are looking at a Fall 2012 release and not a 2013 release with more and more rumors pointing towards a new Xbox in 2013 (That's also assuming that this is coming out for current gen consoles).

Either way, can't wait to see the trailer.

The "V" is obviously from a $5 bill. Where is money made? Washington DC.

The 4 US mints where money is produced are in Philly (the largest), Denver, San Fran, and West Point. Although the Mint headquarters is obviously in DC (like every other government entity)
