As for customization, I do like to get some clothes every once in a while but that's it. I find it a bit of a burden sometimes what with the customization and such.
I don't see how it is a burden exactly, you have the choice to customize or not. To have a ton of options doesn't mean you have to change thier clothes every time nite changes to day. Even I'm not that crazy about it. For me I feel it is a must have but, that is just my opinion.

on topic: customization would be nice but it's not necessary. it was kind of a drag in san andreas to HAVE to eat and work out. but now with the way R* is developing their characters, i get attached to them and i feel like customizing them would take away from the experience. it's like if i changed the way they looked, it wouldn't feel like the same character.

on the other hand, i'd be totally down for car customization. i hope they include some kind of garage for our cars. the parking space they had in IV was stupid and i lost a ton of cars because of it.
I don't think eating had anything to do with customization really it was more of a realism thing. Yeah you could get really fat if you ate all the time and didn't work out but, you would have to eat quite a bit to get that size almost like you would have to do it on purpose just to do so. It was a pain and not a feature I particually enjoyed so I just used a cheat code(never hungry) I think.

Working out I didn't mind if you wanted add a little muscle. Seemed like it was a love it or hate it feature. I'm pretty sure not everybody liked it, I'm probably in the minority. That was GTA's aim, to add realism but, I can see how it could be annoying. They had cheats for this for people who didn't want to deal with that sort of thing.

Let's not give them any ideas.

Although, agreed. Like I said, GTA games provide hundreds and hundreds of hours of entertainment. That's worth well more than $60 to me.

I feel the same way. Only games I buy first day are GTA (and any other R* game that seems interesting) or the annual 2k.

I know I get my moneys worth with these titles.

Anyone think that with them having 3 separate Protagonist that this may be the first GTA game that may have a 3 player Co-Op mode through the story? Each player controls one of the protagonist and each one has a certain Obj during each mission they have to do to help the other one whether its to be a getaway driver, disabling alarms or helping in a robbery. I see a lot of potential with that.

If they do that it would be amazing. I'd actually get excited for this game if that was the case. Not many open world games at all allow full story co-op. I think its the way gaming needs to go.

I don't know if this is too much to ask, but I'd like to know certain things about the game (like featured elements and such) without knowing the story or character backgrounds.

I might be speaking for many people here, but I also might not be speaking for anybody at all. Is there a way anything that is revealed regarding the story can be put in spoiler tags, if posted about?

I think that's going to be tricky because even in the GI article there were quite a few spoilerish things about the characters' backgrounds. I don't know if some people in their excitement can keep things spoiler tagged but if I make any comments like that i'll try to spoiler tag it.

I mean an article will be an article. I didn't ever really read it, I just read people's responses and such (skimmed some things about the map and whatnot).

I guess character backgrounds are an acceptable thing to post about, but if they start talking about missions or progress through the game... I mean these are things we normally tag in spoilers once we have the game, so it would only make sense to do so before the games's release as well.
