Not surprised by a delay. How many times was GTA IV delayed before finally landing a May release? I wouldn't be surprised if GTA V was pushed back into early '14 either.

I don't think Rockstar gives a single **** about when the next consoles come out. Their sales figures are going to be tremendous either way. Also, why not maximize profits on systems that everyone has?

I agree. And if the next-gen consoles are BC, this will probably be the only sandbox game at launch. It will probably be better than anything at launch as well.

I am getting this game anyway no matter when it releases. Better be really good or there will be a lot of disappointed GTA fans. Only 2 releases on this current generation? Hope it is a lot better than 4. We'll see.

So they moved the game back to September that sucks but i trust Rockstar they are pretty good at making games. Looks like i will be busy watching the NFL and playing GTA 5 this fall.

Yea, I'm glad this got pushed back some. With a game this huge, I'm sure there were plenty of bugs to clean up. I'd rather wait and get a gem that is GOAT quality versus a rushed product that cut corners. That was the problem with Assassin's Creed III. Great and ambitious game, but waaaaaaayyyyy too many bugs for series with great quality usually.
