    First thing?

Switch to Trevor. Find a group of people.

    And then kill those people.

What everyone does when they first open GTA.

Go to a dark alley, find the girl in high heels..

I believe I'll be tempted to dive in to the story so I can start things off proper. However, if not that, I think my first inclination would be to wander into the countryside, climb a mountain, and/or discover the wildlife. Then I imagine myself stumbling across a waterfall and jumping into it, just to experience what I couldn't in Red Dead Redemption.

That takes away a good chunk of DLC for a lot of us then. I'd much rather it be like last time where all the stories intertwined with each other.

Anyway, the first thing I'll do is walk over to Cluckin' Bell with one of them (Probably Franklin, though I get the feeling we will be using Michael for a prologue to start the game) and order myself a number 3. Just because I can.

              Re: Grand Theft Auto V

I'm going to try and play this game without using an HUD (mostly with regard to the map). I want to absorb things and know them for myself. I realized that the GPS on GTA IV didn't really help me know the lay of the land quite as much.

I want to hop on a BMX and cruise around downtown and the suburbs. I'll eventually find my way out to the wilderness, but I want the story to help dictate me out there, if that makes sense. At that point, I'm going to want to start animal hunting and easter egg hunting.

And finally, I want to explore the ground before I explore the air. As I said with Saints Row IV, it's a bit disappointing that you don't have a necessity to stay on the ground, so the air doesn't feel as impressive that way. I'm going to try and avoid being in a plane/helicopter until, again, the story dictates that it's time to. It'll let me appreciate the size of the game more, as well as trying to scale mountains, etc.

Also, something I will do at some point is put on a Letterman's jacket, an animal mask, and the Hotline Miami soundtrack while I rage for bit.

                    You dunno too much!! so...

I like how there's an online mode called "Passive Mode." It's Free Mode without the spawn-killing (or that is, if you choose your options properly, there isn't any friendly fire).

Switch to Franklin, grab a BMX and head right down to Grove. St.

Then jack my first car, preferably a Low Rider and then start hooking that one up. Probably will ride around the City on the Freeways taking in the sights while in traffic.

                      Ugh...28 more days.

                        More GTA Online News:

                        General:

                        • The camera will zoom out and pan away to your online character seamlessly. During the animation, a matchmaking process will be in progress.
                        • You can do almost anything you can do in single player in GTA Online.
                        • You can change weather, time of day, time you want it to rain or to be a certain weather state, radio station to be tuned at the start of the race or mission in the Content Creator.
                        • You can watch races and deathmatches on your apartment TV.
                        • There are masks to hide from the cops.
                        • The Online will be run on the Social Club servers, data will be stored on the cloud. There are datacenters from NY to San Diego, and more Rockstar studios.

                        Missions:

                        • Each mission requires a rank depending on difficulty and complexity. The bigger your rank, the more difficult the missions will be.
                        • There are around 700 missions in GTA Online. 500 will be available to play on release, as more will be added eventually.
                        • Missions will be ordered randomly as you play Online.

                        Multiplayer:

                        • For certain heists you might need certain weapons, vehicles or characters such as a sniper or a driver. This will also depend on the mission creator if you download the mission from the Social Club.
                        • Some missions are so complex they need plenty of good communication.
                        • There will be descriptions to help each character on its heist function.
                        • There is something called "team lives". If you have 4 team lives and 4 people, if everyone dies there will be 0 lives left, or if you die 4 times, the team will have 0 lives left, which means if anyone dies, it's mission failed.

I'm glad that multiplayer won't be available until 2 weeks after release. Given just how amazing it sounds, I may not spend much time in single player after online is available. This way, I can get some time in with single player.

That says a lot for me, as i'm almost strictly a single player only type of guy, but this sounds too good to be true. I'm just glad that there's a passive mode, as I really enjoyed RDR online when the "passive" mode was enabled. When it was off, too many people trolled spawn areas and just killed people immediately.

Reading all of that makes me just cringe I have to wait another month or so for this game but, at least we know for sure there will be no delays. Let's just hope GTA Online isn't delayed for so many weeks or months, this is Rockstar after all even if a delay is for the best it would be a big disappointment. I'm so pumped for this game I'm gonna bump my internet speed up for this.

I was reading the GTA forums and a guy came up with a couple of good idea's for some fun game modes that I thought would be fun anyway. One was racing literally using the entire map(content creater) which would be time consuming but, the payoff would be huge and hunting but, with a twist one guy in the woods with multiple people hunting him down which you could do by placing a big bounty on his head.

Can't wait to see what kind of stuff people come up with. Isn't there triathlons in this game? I thought I read that when info first started pouring out or maybe in one of the gameplay trailers?
