Last night I ended up in a lake near Mt. Chiliad and it was pretty cool swimming underwater and whatnot.

THEN, five minutes ago, I finally discovered the beach proper. And, if I can post this NSFW link for the second time in a week here, this was pretty much my response:

      <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/eLZvypwm3T8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Honestly, it's stunning and riding wave runners is the greatest thing ever.

I haven't really gone by the ocean yet, but I did get a pretty good look at it while I was at the airport. The swells (I think that's what big waves are called, lol) looked fantastically real.

              Holy ****!
This is the pinnacle in video games as an art form, with the gameplay to match.

I'm blown away and I've been almost jaded lately with videogames and this game was NOT even on my radar till about a month ago, or whenever that trailer came out.
I just stupidly thought they couldn't get any better than Red Dead.
Mannnn! The camera is spectacular. On foot, in vehicle, and the transitioning from cinematic to gameplay is jaw dropping.
The storytelling feels movie like. Meaning that it has Hollywood production values.
              High quality cinematography.
Something crucial but rarely takes about its the fantastic improvement to the map/gps while driving. Best ever.
Last but not least is the much improved cop Chase/evade mechanics. Light years away from gta 4, making movie like cop escapes possible. Wow

Stealing airplanes from the airport is also a lot of fun. This game really has everything!

Yeah this about sums it up. It might be early to say (only like 10% done of the story), but this is probably the best game I've ever played. I have some nostalgic favorites, I just don't know if it's fair to compare them to this game and vice versa.

                  Well done, Rockstar.

That said, I can still envision ways on how they can even go bigger and better for GTA VI, which will probably be the only next-gen GTA there is (if they do any at all).

still wondering which console to buy. I have an unopened 360 copy from BB and have been using a redbox version of the ps3. I am wondering if the online portion will run better on one system over the next. Ugh.

I feel like at this point, games pretty much run the same online on both consoles.

After a little more than 10 hours of downloading and installing the PSN version I finally got to play for awhile this afternoon, and now I'm stuck back at work.

I played about an hour and a half and can't wait to get back. The driving will take some getting used to but it felt a lot better than the older games and not as sluggish and slow. The auto aim is a little ridiculous so I may think about turning it off but I'll see how it goes when missions get a little more difficult.

I'm interested to see how that portion of the game plays out.
                                I haven't played. It's been downloading while I'm working.

But I will definitely be participating in the stock market with Michael.

I love the idea of three protagonists. There are very different ways I will be playing this game with who I control.

I feel that was the biggest drawback with GTA IV. The gamer's intention never matched Niko's goals.
