Is it sad that while I'm stuck at work not playing GTA, I actually went back to page 455 of this thread (September 17) and re-reading what everyone posted in their spoilers in case I missed anything in any missions I've played?

This is the only way I get my GTA fix..

It's not sad; I'll be doing the same thing. Only problem is that I'm 21 missions in.

By the way, I'm only looking at 149 pages in this thread in total. Might I suggest you change your posts per page parameters so that you're looking at 40 posts instead of 10, having to click for new pages all of the time. Much less hassle.

Will our offline gameplay have ANY effect on GTA Online?

If you find parts for a certain thing you can use that thing in online mode. At least that is what I read earlier in the thread.

I think once I beat the story I'm going to pick up a strategy guide for some light reading at work in my down time.

Then again, I kind of want to play through again and see if my choices change much of anything. I'm down to 10 missions left and I can probably finish the game up tonight. I'm at 70% completion still, but I doubt I get to 100% on my main save before GTA Online.

I've still got plenty of freak missions and things to do.

Use the dingy/scuba gear and recover the submarine pieces for that lady, after she killed her husband and collected on the insurance.

along with some other time consuming tasks.

I finally got around to the first heist last night. Had a psn chat with a buddy afterwards to see how our different choices effected the game.

We both did the stealth approach but he hired all the expensive crew. I only hired a good hacker, the driver and gunman were cheap.

My driver got us street bikes. Yea, that didn't work out so well once we got to the sewers. He also didn't know where the **** he was going and we actually stopped in the sewers for him to figure it out. He still guessed.

My gunman didn't even survive. He crashed before we got underground.

The hacker though gave me twice as much time as I needed. The store was cleaned out and I still had 50 seconds left.

By buddy said everything went completely smooth on his end. Dirt bikes and everyone survived.

Yep, any gun really, even did it with a hand gun. It is just weaker guns require way more shots.
