    Re: Grand Theft Auto V

Man, I want to know what GTA you guys have played where the Missions weren't relatively easy, lol. They've never been "difficult" to the point where it'd get you frustrated because you can't beat or that it made you actually think(LA Noire is probably the only one that fits this description more closely than any other R* game).

    - No vigilante missions
    - No cops around the city so to speak
    - Can't dial numbers (can only call contacts) EDIT: nvm on this
    - Pedestrians don't weaken as you hurt them more (to a slow limp, etc.)
    - No blood footprints after stepping in blood puddles!
    - No L2/R2 alternating car starting technique in hot spot situations
    - No sixth star on the wanted level system
    - Very few enterable buildings, especially restaurants
    - Probably better but not as funny... falling into water from high heights kills you now
I addressed this part earlier but forgot to mention that they are prevalent in/around Franklin's neighborhood where I couldn't go a block without hearing/seeing a police car drive by with it's sirens on or a cop walking the street.

I also seen blood footprints in here while I was doing free roam with Trevor if I'm not mistaken but I'll go back and double check on this one just to make sure I wasn't seeing things.

Don't have an issue with only having 5 stars as opposed to 6 because even if you got 6 stars in GTA4, you'd only have the FIB coming after you(this is where they screwed up at here)and a big *** circle the size of Broker whereas if you get the max in GTA5, then you're getting the Army to come after you.

It would be good if they gave you a way of quickly toggling it on and off (without having to go into the game options) for the shooting/vehicle bits.

I'm selling Pisswasser stock now(GTA forums doing it in less than 24hrs from now I believe), so anyone who was on board with what the GTA forums was doing, then sell now before everyone else does.

Had about a 60% profit from the time I bought it. I didn't invest that much in it(compared to the amount I have) but still....making about 100k combined between my 3 characters while not even having to play the game.

          Really hate the cop system.

They are psychic. If Im in the middle of the desert with hardly anyone around, and use a sniper rifle on a guy, the cops shouldn't magically be on me in 20 seconds. It happens all the time and makes stealth gameplay worthless.

            Are you using a suppressor?

I agree about the psychic abilities. I can be outta line of sight, but if I'm on a road they automatically know my route. It's best to shake them and then find a hiding spot.

Yeah, if you're not using a suppressor then you're not exactly helping yourself out as far as not trying to get caught by the Cops, lol.

Remember, NPCs can/will call on the cops on you if necessary.

I find that I can usually get away with killing one person.

It's when I start a spree that the cops come.

I had 20 rockets on me yesterday and I just stood in the road blowing up cop cars and helicopters as they arrived to shoot at me until I ran out. That **** was so much fun.

I just sold everything and made a new save and then invested again, that way I save the $10mil I've made if things go bad tomorrow. However I have a chance to make a more money since I bought back in between now and tomorrow sell off.

Really wish I put more into HAL when it was just a $1, it's now at 900% return.

I find the cops know where you are even if you use a suppressor. I've camped out on tall buildings shooting pedestrians with my silenced sniper only to have the cops know exactly where I am. GTA logic?

I don't really know how stocks worth in real life, so I don't really know how they work in this game.

I get that if you sell stock at an amount per share higher than when you bought it, you make money. I don't know what makes them go up or down though. People say there are hints all around, and I think I was being given a hint when I was taking someone to the airport or something, but I really don't know what that hint was as he was talking.

I think that's really my key to getting more money, because at the moment I'm not making Jack squat. In fact, I'm getting wasted so many times that I lose $5000 every time I die.

When you're first wanted, they know you're location and sniff it out (specifically where you were) until they find you. After that, if you lose them once, they don't seem to be as "magic" anymore.

I really like the system, but sometimes I feel it's too easy when other times I feel three stars can be impossible, all depending.

I found the ps2 games to be challenging, gta4 wasn't as hard but still much harder than this one I think.

But I also generally suck at non sports games.

I've done the same thing, with suppressor. Cops don't swarm the crime scene blocks away, they swarm the building you're on top of. GTA logic.

That's what led me to really start investing. I invest all but about 10k on each character so my hospital bills stay down.

Even if you lose a few thousand on a bad investment it's cheaper in the long run.

I thought the amount you lose when you die was proportional to the money you have, but capped out at 5000.

                              Am I wrong on that?

It is, but it caps out around maybe $100,000 or so.
