Re: Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One

So I wanted to give this a bump in case anyone else would be playing this besides bcruise and myself. I know rspencer was downloading it, so if you want to join in on some co-op action, that would be awesome!

We had a short co-op session yesterday that I had to end early, but I'd like to get some time in again today if possible. Anyone else interested?

Okay, well I will be around until about 9:00 ET and then will come back around midnight ET. If before and after those times work for anybody here, let me know.

I'm on now if anybody wants to co-op

Edit: Going online you have to agree to a beta EULA.

Just got home from work, I'm game. Signing on now.

No mic btw - the game has voice chat but I can't use it (though I can hear someone that does).

bcruise already knows, but I'm on now. If you guys get room in your game, shoot me an invite and I'll join in!

What level are you all on? I'll do SP until then, just so I don't miss anything between where I am and where you all are at.

Ah, wish I'd seen this earlier, we were at three players for the last level. I dropped now for the night, so you can jump in if you want. I think we were getting ready to go into the 4th level.

Kinda easy to unintentionally troll your teammates in this game - love it when your partner vacuum-blasts you off a cliff!

Had fun, but I am a major bolt whore, I think I had the bolt title every round.

I like it, and now I kind of wish I had grabbed it when release, but then I remember I just got it (mostly) free and I'm glad I didn't.

Got through the rest of the game on single player, I wish it kept stats like most used weapon. Towards the end I used the critter strike a lot, especially against the large swarms, warmonger and ryno for the larger guys, and plasmabomb launcher in a pinch (or those special occasions where it was necessary). A lot of weapons seemed fairly useless, especially when you run out of ammo for your favorites and you just fire them endlessly and they don't seem to really do anything.

It's also on my list of games to download as part of ps+ so send me a friend request and I'll check it out. This seems like the kind of game that will be better to play with friends then by myself.

For those who don't have PS+ or didn't jump on this when it was free, Best Buy has the disc version as its 7/3 Deal of the Day for $9.99. The deal is, of course, good for today only.

This game is a lot better than I thought it was going to be. I guess I was expecting something a little more mini-game like since it was marketed as a co-op game. Although I guess I'm happy I slept on it since I ended up getting it free as part of the PS+ program. Pretty sure I'm right at the end after a 3-day weekend of playing it because the battles are getting tougher and using up pretty much all my ammo. I just received the RYNO VI though, that should come in handy

Stop playing through the story too quickly, we have to do co-op together!

lol, I'll do co-op. I played a little last night with Brett. I didn't see anything that marks your progress through co-op other than the levels available to start a new session at. Do you just create a game from any level that you have completed so far either online or offline? I noticed that I could have created an online game on the last level where my offline game is at, I wonder if there is anything stopping someone from joining that game if they have not made it that far in their game yet (either on or offline).

I'm up for co-op so I can get a few trophies

Yeah - next time we play, you can just start an "online" game from where you left off and invite us into it. Looking forward to more co-op sessions!

Sucks that I started off with Ratchet (like you did) and had to start with a Clank last night (Level 0)
