This dynamic looks really interesting. You rack up points over the course of a fight and spend them in the same match for items. There is also a cumulative XP separate from this BP that levels up over time, but I think this sounds cool.

I'll be keeping an eye on this game for sure. March 8th will be an interesting day

So it's like the old counter strike system. You start with default weapons and then the better you do the better upgrades you can obtain.

No EG...I am stoked about this game. With the timeframe it comes out(especially PS3), it could be the sleeper hit of the year.

The MP looks a lot like BF which is a good thing. However it's gonna be vehicle heavy which I'm not a big fan of. I still bitch about being killed by the UAV in BF and with the ability to "purchase" vehicles...I don't want to be stalked by 8 UAV's at once. It does look good don't get me wrong, but if I'm gonna play a MP game like this BF is more my style.

Personally, helicopters annoy the hell out of me in BF. Played a match where the damn thing just kept flying off to repair, and then return to harass the team.

This game reminds me of Freedom Fighters which I liked alot, but instead of Koreans it was Russians. I will be getting this one.

I might rent this for the SP. Dev diary looked good. But I loved how they tried to sell the fact that they "strived" to get REAL commercial products in the game.

Aren't they putting the cart before the horse with DLC in this game? It might not even be anywhere close to a hit.

But then again DLC might be cheap to produce so the break even price could be low.

I was watching some gameplay videos, and it looks so much like COD. Even the reload animations look the same to me. If you didn't tell me the name of the game, I would be 100% sure that I'm watching one of the recent COD's. Looks fun to play (happening in the US this time), but I don't see anything that makes this game different other than the location/story. Keep in mind that I'm not a multi-player guy.

Same here! I LOVED Freedom Fighters and Homefront looks like a next-gen sequel to that game. I'm looking forward to this game

yeah, that idiot from ign complaining that it's unlikely in the interview he did made me a little angry...someone forgot to tell him that in fiction you can do whatever you want.

Although it would have been even more fun if Canada was the invader and we got to smoke a whole bunch of canadian bacon eh!

well I believe it a bit, in the sense that there are many of them, trying to put them in real life locations, and the fact that you may see an ad somewhere with a corpse next to it with blood on it.

What they are trying to do was what 'close encounters of a third kind' did back in the day by putting real ads in real places rather than having to fake everything which was standard before that film.

that's how I see it anyway, and I don't mind it - mlb 2k10 was a touch obnoxious because of the low number of sponsors that looks ridiculous, and other games where the ad interferes or interupts gameplay. If they achieve their goal (if they're being honest) we will not even notice it.
