You are correct sir, BUT (there's always one of those lol) first I'm not dissing consoles, thats pretty much all I game on UNLESS it comes to a military sim. There's too much depth to those types of games and consoles just simply cannot handle it. Just a fact bro.

Who said I wanted a stripped down version? I'm simply saying we don't need to turn this into a Console vs PC thread AND those that can only play on console don't need to hear the PC vs Console debate, yet again.

April 26th? That should hold me over until LA Noire, then I'll have to make a decision between the 50,000 games I will have bought by then.

MLB 2k11, Homefront, Operation Flashpoint, LA Noire, Mass Effect 3, Elder Scrolls V, Saints Row 3, Battlefield 3, Dead Island, NCAA 12, Madden 12, and a .012% chance of another GTA. When was the last time we had a year like this?

Red River preview/impressions

Red River has a more narrow focus than its predecessor, Dragon Rising. Completely removing competitive multiplayer, the team at Codemasters has opted to put all their focus on the four-player co-op experience...

In addition, there will be a few other co-op game modes that take place in more enclosed spaces. Rolling Thunder is a type of escort mission where a team must protect a convoy going from point A to point B. Last Stand has a team hold out against waves of enemies for as long as possible. Combat Search and Rescue is a Black Hawk Down type mission where players must reach a downed chopper, rescue the pilot and co-pilot, and reach extraction. Combat Sweep is basically Search and Destroy, an area needs enemies cleared out.

If I can find 3 guys on xbox 360 for co-op I will pick this up.

Based on some of the previews they have simplified this game somewhat and strayed from the sim route in the pursuit of more sales. All I wanted them to do was improve the graphics and improve the a.i. from the 1st game not dumb it down. I've been hearing that the opponent a.i. is terrible in Red river but it does look better.

yeah, this is one that i'll be waiting to hear some feedback on before i purchase.. for some reason, i just don't have faith in this game..

Well, that makes me saving $60 easy as well. If a FPS doesn't have MP then it's a no go for me.
