    Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Skyrim, obviously. In MW3 you just kill people over and over with a few different guns, like any other FPS... but this... this is something special.

Not only are there more people to kill, BUT THAT'S NOT THE ONLY THING YOU DO lol.

LoL, I wish the bodies actually decomposed. But I guess that would be a little too much detail into the world. I personally would wanna put people on making a cool decomposition part of the game.

Honestly, can't wait to play my Dark Elf. I think I might have more of a spellsword/battlemage kind of character, you know? Blade in one hand, switch between a spell or a shield in the other, depending on the situation.

      Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

The last few days I have been trying to decide what Race I am going to be when I get the game. I have it narrowed down between a Wood Elf since I want to be a archer, or be either a Imperial or Brenton.

Friday can't get here soon enough!

Thankfully I have Friday off due to it being a holiday. So I just very may well do the whole midnight Gamestop deal. They have said the PC version unlocks at midnight eastern time right?

It's all good, it was minor. I'd much rather ask people to hide little things like that instead of somebody slipping up with something huge.

I'm in the same boat as some of you. I have no clue what type of character I want to be. Do I want to be an Orc warrior with sick enchanting abilities, a 2H Nord warrior, a Breton battlemage? I have no idea. So many different combinations to play through as, meaning I keep flip flopping on what type of playthrough I want to do first.

I wish you could take individual body parts off like in FO3. At least I hope you can.

Some mutant angered me in FO3, so I took his head and set it on my table in the Megatron house.

But yeah, to anyone who has the game can you do this? Honestly didn't even think about that possibility, lol.

                        Good Read

"Having a great game people want to play may be a winning strategy on the consoles, but on the PC that just makes you more susceptible to having your game jacked and not making a dime from it. Hines acknowledges this is a problem Bethesda has also faced."

"Unless you decide not to make your games available for PC, it's a problem and you have to deal with it," he said. "So we do the best we can to protect it without resorting to Draconian measures, and we continue to enthusiastically support our PC fans with things like the Creation Kit and the ability to create and add unlimited amounts of mods and content to your existing PC game."

I haven't been focused much but I did not know this so I'm sure this is old news.. but new to me lol

"We already knew that Skyrim was enormous, but it may be even bigger than we thought. According to Bethesda's Todd Howard, the game's Radiant story system means that there's no limit to the quests it can provide.

As you encounter each of the game's factions, such as the Dark Brotherhood, you'll be able to complete a series of scripted quests. Once you've completed all of them, smaller quests will continue to be randomly generated, such as stealing items or assassinating NPCs. The game will never run out of these quests, meaning that they can be generated infinitely.

"The vibe of the game is that it's something that you can play forever," Howard told Wired.

Sorry to disappoint, but there are no decapitations or severed limbs in Skyrim.

Well I switched back to the PC version today. I'm getting a new monitor during black friday so it makes more since to just get the PC version now instead of rebuying the game later when mods start. Plus I want to get back into modding myslef. Been a while nut it was always great fun to see what you could do.
