Sort of a last role call and a request. I barely have anyone from OS on my friends list.

Who's getting this for PS3 on release?

Can I add you to my FL?

I'll accept friend requests too, send me a message.

Dark Elf rogue type. Bows, Daggers and Alchemy for the first play through. Might switch it up to Wood Elf though, for the Command Animal racial.

Got a really nice idea forming of Redguard warrior. Really cool hero type, Paladin-ish even, with a secret

              Spoiler

Got the Orc idea, gonna try to make an Elder Scrolls version of Thrall. One handed, resto, destruction combo. Shaman lol.

Gonna end up with a ridiculously powerful pure mage. Maybe one of those High Elves. It'll be down the line.

Gotta have a straight up evil mofo, probably a vampire, maybe an Argonian or Khajiit. Still working on that.

This game is going to get way too many hours out of me.

                I'm getting excited.

Only game I plan on buying for quite a while. I don't buy many new games - but I can't pass this one up. My 360 will finally get some play time after several months of neglect. I hope it still works.

There are ten playable races in Skyrim, each with its own unique abilities and powers, as well as a +10 bonus to one skill and +5 bonuses to five other skills. Race is the only choice during the character creation process that has an effect on your character's skills and abilities.

                    Re: Classes

Character creation has been dramatically changed in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Previous games had the player choose from a list of classes that would determine the starting skills for the player's character and in some cases, how the player's character would level. The player also had the option of creating a custom class, selecting each skill individually. This system had a very large impact on player effectiveness in the beginning of the game, though Oblivion's system was able to lessen that impact. A player could spend hours working out the most effective way to build a character.

In Skyrim however, that system has been removed, meaning that though the player will still select a race, the player no longer has to select a class. Skill set specialization is still possible in Skyrim, but instead of permanently selecting this during character creation, this is now done using guardian stones. Nothing has been stated by developers about the birth sign system returning or not, though it does not look likely.

Looks awesome, thanks for the info.

Leaning toward a Wood Elf archer at 1st. Might also try out something similar to a Paladin as that was something I played over in WoW for awhile

                            Gamespot Review

                            The Good:

Immense world stuffed with varied tasks to perform
                            Dragon battles are a blast
Lovely art design capped by some beautiful, atmospheric touches
Enjoyable battles that you can approach in a variety of ways
Lots of compelling, self-contained stories to experience in addition to the main one.

                            The Bad:

Glitches and bugs frequently disrupt the immersion
Friendly AI is often more of a hindrance than a help.
If you've played previous Elder Scrolls games, glitches and oddities don't come as a surprise. Nevertheless, Skyrim comes in a year graced with multiple quality RPGs that feature tighter combat, fewer bugs, better animations, and so forth. But to be fair, none of those games are endowed with such enormity. Yet The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim doesn't rely on sheer scope to earn its stripes. It isn't just that there's a lot to do: it's that most of it is so good. Whether you're slashing a dragon's wings, raising the dead back to life, or experimenting at the alchemy table, Skyrim performs the most spectacular of enchantments: the one that causes huge chunks of time to vanish before you know it.
