I was under $600 total, bought a PC on CL, sold parts, to put towards the cost of new parts, swapped, etc. Ended up with a VERY nice setup that will play mostly anything right now.

Just have to look for deals. I have $135 in Mail in Rebates I've been too lazy to fill out

Probably around 3-4 months now. Runs Skyrim beautifully. I was using a small monitor until I was able to hook it to the Plasma.. wow. Night and day.

Haven't played it in about a week or so.

Then again, I've not had the desire to play anything for a while really. Skyrim kept my attention for 78 hrs, so that's doing alright. Nowhere near the 300 hours I put into Oblivion though. Granted, times have changed, 2 kids, married, and constantly bogged down with work

Anyone fought Kvenel the Tongue? I can't tell you how many times this dude killed me w/ his dual wielding weapons. He killed Lydia in our fierce battle. After Lydia fell to his blade, I had to retreat and go buy/make every health potion I could to stand a chance.

Finally understand alchemy, smithing(?), and enchanting. I almost want to start over now.

I actually just started over yesterday because of this... now I know exaclty how to build my character, and how to maximize my skills.
